Dolce by Wyndham is perfect for a short stay.
Dolce by Wyndham Athens has a splendid location, like a luxury resort however there are some minus points. It is not easy to get there, first the road condition and the trajectory. While the hotel has all potential to be a high class resort there are many details work on. E.g. cleanliness of the pool lounge chairs, the quality and diversity of the buffet diner which could be improved as well.

The hotel site is large and has a lot of sport accommodation. Pool is salt water, and very large. hotel itself is rather old and getting a bit tired. Elevators are spread out and don't always service all floors. They still have manual doors and are very small. Staff is ok, but could be more service minded for a 5* experience.

OK hotel, but too big and not cosy
A bit dated hotel that has been renovated. There are nice areas but they are underused. The rooms are OK but small. So is the bathroom. Breakfast was poor. Unnecessary to play loud radio in the restaurant and around the pool; this is disturbing. A bit too big hotel for us; lots of stairs and steps. Breakfast quality was a disappointment. lounge chairs on the beach were dirty. This hotel should be better managed / and staff supervised. Not really value for money.

The staff at the hotel were wonderful - lovely people, smiling, genuine and displaying all that's great about Greek hospitality. Magda was lovely. The hotel is well located on a nice part of the coast - it was quiet as well, (nice if you want to relax). The facilities are good and for the most part well-kept. Some areas on the beach had a board-walk of sorts that was in need of repair. I have been to Greece many times, and one thing I enjoy is the hospitality and the food. This hotel had all the hospitality, but sadly the food - for me - was lacking spirit. The quality was fine, but the inspiration was lacking. The rooms/beds/facilities were nice. Keep in mind this was all during COVID-19 - thus the hotel had a number of constraints to deal with which I thought they did a good job with.

Nice view from the hotel. Our room was small and the corridor smelled musty. The breakfast buffet is ok but wouldn't recommend eating at the hotel for dinner, rather find alternative locally or go to other areas and visit. The place is nice if you don't plan to stay in your room but rather use the pool or swim in the bay or use this to stay close to the airport and visit other place e.g. city center and Acropolis.

The first day we arrived the telephone was not working so we could not use room service. We were going to take a nap and they were bloodstains on the duvet cover. The top lights were not working. We reported these things to the front desk. They had a woman come in and change. The sheets told us there was nothing they could do about the telephone did not offer us another room and then sent us shopping to a store that was further than what we needed. I was totally unsatisfied. I would love to get my money back if I could.

A decent resort in a picturesqe location, Seemed like families and seniors were enjoying the conveniences, and others the pool area with pop music playing throughout the day. The staff were always trying to be helpful and seemed genuinely invested in the experience people were having. On the food side, the breakfast buffet was a good value. The dinner mot so much for a vegetarian. pasta, rice, and salads were the main possibilities, I passed. Drinks were included, which might make it worthwhile for some. The one thing that bothered me during my stay was that the beach area was littered with cigarette butts for thr duration of my stay.

My booking through Expedia was incorrectly booked for the wrong date. Expedia notified me that Dolce needed to approve a refund. I double paid for my stay and have talked to several managers who told me they would approve the refund and confirm but so far nothing.

I really enjoyed the service of the staff. Aggeliki, Katerina, and Andriana were more than willing to accommodate my needs. Throughout my requests, they ensured I was satisfied to the fullest extent. The rooms were clean, and the food was good. There were wait times between 5-10 minutes to access reception due to limited front desk staff, but it was efficient overall. Since we attended during the Greek Easter weekend (May), we got to experience the cultural traditions, fireworks, and Greek meals that most tourists may not experience! The communal pool and pool bar were terrific, too. Overall, the stay at the Dolce by Wyndham was 4.8/5.0.

Only a one night stay. Wanted to be relatively close to airport without staying at airport. We had an early morning flight and drive was about 20 mins, not sure how long if traffic. Dolce Wyndham in Athina was a great place to stay overnight for a flight the next morning. The hotel staff was fantastic...front desk provided an easy check in, room was ready early but was a little smaller and older than normal, the restaurant/bar staff were great, food was great as well wine/beverage recommendations. They were friendly, helpful and fun! They were very knowledgeable of the surrounding area, the history, etc. The property offered a large pool, hot tub, pool bar with music, umbrella beach chairs along the water. Luckily the sunset for the last night in Greece was spectacular! The only negatives: the hotel is older and could definitely use an update, the location seemed farther from the airport and Athens proper than thought it was going to be. One would definitely need a car and/or driver (you could taxi) if you did an extended stay and wanted to explore all that Athens has to offer. Overall was a great overnight experience.

There is so much mold all over this property. The lobby is beautiful but the rooms are very poorly remodeled. They smelled of paint and chemicals. The pool closed really early and we did not get to use it. It is clear that the management is trying to cover up how old and dirty the facility is. This hotel doesn’t even have a first-aid kit. My friend was injured and all they had to offer was disinfectant and cotton. This stay is absolutely not worth the money.
