« The staff were welcoming and helpful without intruding on our special night at this amazing hotel. It was our 30th Wedding Anniversary and far above what we could normally afford. So, made all worthwhile by staff, rooms and food. »

Lower Slaughters is the best place in the Cotswolds, and the Country Inn atmosphere and staff have further contributed to our very relaxing stay there. « Séjour pour une étape de randonnée sur les sentiers de la Thamise. Très bon hôtel avec un excellent pub et restaurant, très bien situé dans Cirencester. Notre chambre était située au dessus du pub et il y avait trop de bruits malheureusement même un soir de semaine jusqu'à très tard. Pas très reposant au final... Mais très bonnes prestations par ailleurs. »

« Une propriété magnifique qui a toutefois besoin d'amour à l'intérieur de ses chambres. Les fenêtres claquaient à chaque fois qu'un client fermait sa porte de chambre et ce avec un boum fracassant. Le lit était defence et les meubles étaient désuets pour un hotel de cette qualité. Le souper au restaurant était parfait, le petit déjeuner inclus aussi parfait et tout l'extérieur sur le site était magique. Bien aimé mais pas certain que j'y retournerai pour le confort de la chambre. »

« Lovely bedrooms, spacious & beautifully decorated with an original fireplace, in a gorgeous Georgian house in the town centre with a cosy ensuite All shops & restaurants on the doorstep. Easy parking in a private car park at the rear. The owner is a very hospitable and helpful lady. Tewkesbury looked very festive and attractive . Would definitely stay here again even though Im fairly local & could have driven home after meeting up with friends . »

« Great England experience in a 1000 year old inn. Central and authentic. Loved the room over the entrance with views all around. Didn’t mind banging my head on the door frame too much, but I am 5’7”! Great pub downstairs. Not modern but that is what we were looking for. »

« The cottage and the entire property are beautiful and well maintained. The staff is very courteous and accommodating. The cottage is fully stocked with everything a guest may require. The fridge was stocked with milk, a pack of bacon, a pack of cheese and wine. Fruits and homemade marmalade were also left for us. All very thoughtful and welcoming.
