'Alles was naar wens erg genoten van het Chalet en de omgeving.'

'Wunderschöne Lage mit traumhafter Aussicht. Gemütlich eingerichteter Wohnraum. Die Ausstattung der Betten dürfte verbessert werden: unterschiedlich große, teilweise zu kurze bzw. zu breite Bettdecken. Kopfkissen sollten gereinigt werden. Im Doppelzimmer gab es eine äußerst dünne "Matratze". Ausleuchtung des Wegs zum unteren nur von außen zugänglichen Zimmer fehlte.'

'There were so many amazing things about this property. First, the hosts, Chris and Fi were so helpful and everything was well communicated. The uphill walk with our luggage was a little tough, but the apartment was beautiful, and the views of the Matterhorn were incredible!'

'Wij hebben in het vakantiehuis een hele fijne familie week gehad. Het huis is sfeervol en zeer goed ingericht. Alles wat we nodig hadden was aanwezig. Wat we ook fijn vonden was de veranda waarop we lekker buiten konden zitten. Het enige dat voor ons onduidelijk was was dat er geen handdoeken aanwezig zijn. Maar deze zijn voor ons direct geregeld door dhr Dietrich.'

'Het huis is echt super mooi. Alles is netjes en verzorgd. Wat wij lastig vonden was dat er geen persoonlijk ontvangst was i.v.m betaling van de kurtaxe. Wij moesten zoeken naar het huis. Het staat niet goed aangegeven aan de doorgaande straat. Het huis bleek op een 150 meter zeer steile helling te staan. De weg er naartoe was zand met grind en veel kuilen. Onze auto's (3) konden niet boven komen. Eenmaal in het huis was het verblijf echt super fijn. Heel veel rust en een magistraal...

'It was amazing stay in Zermatt !! Location was perfect to see the Matterhorn and go skiing. There’s no other option for us. Rooms are spacious , clean , enough of spaces to put our clothes, and great kitchen (although without microwave). We also enjoyed fire the stove! '

'Our group of 6 loved staying here! We felt so well taken care of and enjoyed the chalet with all its amenities. Nicole was very accommodating and had more than we needed for our 4 days in Zermatt. The kitchen was great to cook from and the pool + sauna were a fabulous touch for the winter. Thank you!'

'Great Bear is a lovely chalet with breathtaking views in a unique environment. I cannot think of a better summer escape, given the stunning surroundings of the Val Hérens, the local cuisine, produce, meat products, and delicious wines. The chalet fits the rustic character of the tiny village perfectly, while affording the necessary comforts for an Alpine stay. Absolutely LOVED IT!!!'

'I can't think of a better home or location. The house is dripping with Swiss charm and the view of the Matterhorn towering over the town of Zermatt is breathtaking. We hope to return to this location.'

'We had a fantastic time in Paolo’s chalet. It is indeed small but has everything you need and is quite comfortable for a Family. Good weather helps as you get to eat and sit outside more which gives you a bit more space. The location and the views are absolutely breathtaking, pricesless! We will be back one day for sure!'

'Wir hatten einen perfekten Aufenthalt in diesem Chalet! Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet, hat zwei Kamine und einen großen Garten. Es gibt große Wohnzimmer, die Schlafzimmer sind eher klein aber sehr gemütlich. In den Küchen sind alle nötigen Geräte, Geschirr etc. vorhanden. Der Vermieter ist äußerst sympathisch. Ich würde das Haus jederzeit wieder buchen und kann das auch jedem nur Empfehlen!'

'Perfect chalet in quiet village above Evolène. 4 bedrooms, good kitchen, 1 bathroom with toilet, extra separate toilet, fireplace in living room. We really enjoyed our stay here. For Swiss standards very good value for money. Would recommend it.'

'Heel leuk huis waar alles ruim voorzien was, zowel qua keukengerief als de andere voorzieningen in het huis. Alles was ook heel proper en net, kortom top. Dit in een prachtige en rustige streek…'

'We had a wonderful stay in this apartment between Christmas and New Year. The apartment is well located beside slope 3, and therefore a short walk/pole ski to the piste in the morning and then a short ski down to a convenient chairlift to access the slopes. With the advantages of ski in/out it does mean that the apartment is a 10 minute walk down the hill into town (and back up) for restaurants and groceries. The apartment itself is newly redecorated with comfortable furnishings and bedrooms....

'Barbara was an amazing hostess and helped us with any questions or issues we had. She made some amazing recommendations for everything from restaurants to a good experienced guide for paragliding in the valley! The room and hotel spa, pool, and bar/breakfast room were all cozy, comfortable, and inviting! We can’t wait to go back! '
