Net hotel, direct aan het Como meer. Nette grote kamer met uitzicht op het meer. Gratis parkeren kon op ongeveer 400 meter vanaf het hotel. Hotel heeft een zwembad. Voldoende eetgelegenheden in de buurt.

Superfijn verblijf op romantische locatie.
We hebben een superfijn verblijf gehad op een sprookjesachtige locatie (meerzicht). Medewerkers in het hotel waren vriendelijk en goedlachs. Omdat ons hondje niet in het restaurant mocht komen, namen we ons eten mee naar boven en aten we romantisch op balkon. Onze kamer was gerenoveerd en de bedden lagen heerlijk.

3 Basis, ready for improvement to get better score
Used as stop-over during our Holiday in Italy July/August 2017. Unfortunately parking is public and 600m down the road which is not comfortable with kids and luggage. Airconditioning (as can be read in other reviews) was not working and needed service according to the system. Clearly the Hotel don't clean/maintain these! Swimming pool is mini for the size of hotel. Rooms are clean and simple. Breakfast is fine!

Mooi authentiek hotel, prachtige ligging.
Prachtige tuin, mooie nette verzorgde kamer, zwembaden, direct aan Comomeer. Goed ontbijt. Prettige sfeer.

Average hotel on a great location. Small pool, but ok. Breakfast was included and also ok. The really bad thing was the room! We were there in the summer and the room was very very hot. The hotel advertises with airco, and although it was quite new, it did not cool the room at all! it was centrally controlled, and although I complained three times, nothing changed. The hotel also advertises with free parking, but it has no parking. The only free parking is on the street, 800 meters away where there is no room during the day.

Ik ken het hotel al van een andere reis. Oubollig en een beetje gedateerd. Lekker eten van goede kwaliteit en na een jaar herkende de bediening mij nog. Parkeren is een probleem, heeft een prachtig uitzicht over het Comomeer. Als je niet al te veel luxe verwacht, van een mooi uitzicht houdt en je niet stoort aan het verkeer is het een prachtige locatie. Prijs/kwaliteitverhouding is prima

You get what you pay for
We booked this hotel the end of July, for a stay of 7 nights in August for an unbeatable price. I already read the mixed comments regarding this hotel and knew what we were up to. We're a young couple that would like to get the most of our vacation, so our intention was to stay in the hotel mainly for sleeping, breakfast and some occasional lingering. For this purpose, the hotel is perfect: very competitive rates, friendly and helpful staff, a (small) swimming pool, pretty central location. From the hotel it's easy to reach the beautiful villages Bellagio and Varenna via the ferry and Menaggio via bus or tourist train. Villa Carlotta with its beautiful garden is only a 5 minutes walk. It also has a lot of restaurants nearby, so there's plenty of choice to have dinner or lunch. The downside though ... Our room was located at the backside of the hotel and was very poorly isolated: we could hear every guest walking in the hall and our side and upper/lower neighbors. It was also frustrating that at around 8am the staff was driving a towel trolley at the backside, it woke us up every time ... There's no free parking right in front of the building, you'll need to walk a few minutes to Villa Carlotta for the free parking. The swimming pool is only 1.2m deep. We had a very nice holiday at Lake Como and for the price we paid, the stay was more than worth it, but in the future we would book a more up to date hotel that is not that prone to surrounding noises.

Great location!!! Right in front of Lake Como. Amazing views and very convenient as there's a bus stop and a boat stop within 20 meters of the lobby. We noticed the hotel bar was always full of people singing and having a good time, although patrons here are mostly over 60 years old, they all seem to have a great attitude! Dinner served at the hotel restaurant on our first night was a giant disappointment. It was so horrendous that we decided to skip all meals here, even though we had paid extra to have breakfast included. Plus, dinner was super expensive! Over 30 euros each for the worst meal we have ever had. I do recommend it. Room was nice and terrace is lovely. Just have dinner somewhere else and you'll be fine.

Fantastic view of the lake
Chose this hotel for the location- directly opposite the ferry stop so convenient for travelling anywhere on the lake. Had a room with a lake view which was amazing! Room very clean.

Il existe le double vitrage phonique ! C'est honteux pour un tel hôtel ! On entend la conversation téléphonique des voisins, le chahut des chambres du dessus, la soirée musicale pour grabataires tous les soirs... rien est insonorisé. Et en plus chambre placée à côté de l'ascenseur et de l'escalier. La climatisation défectueuse en période de canicule. Merci au monsieur de l'accueil très aimable qui faisait l'effort de parler en français pur nous conseiller.

Dans nos deux chambres pas de prises 220V pour nos appareils anti-apnée du sommeil, uniquement des prises USB pour téléphone. C'est incroyable ! Hôtel à éviter si vous êtes tributaires d'une prise 200V pour votre séjour. Nous l'avons rayé de nos listes ! En plus animation musicale participative jusqu'à 23h45 !

Terrible hotel - never coming back!
Incredibly rude staff and the hotel in general is worn out. The pool area is Messy and dirty. Looks like the hotel and staff could all use a proper Update.

Tremezzo er en lille hyggelig by, en overnatning er nok, med mindre man har planer om at tage rute skibene rundt og se de andre byer. Hotellet var fint, men der manglede lidt på oprydning og finish, rundt på fælles arealerne. Vi kan ikke anbefale at spise på hotellet, der ligger nogle fine og gode restauranter få minutter der fra der er meget bedre. Parkering kan ikke lade sig gøre ved hotellet, men der ligger et p hus 5 min i bil fra hotellet.

Das Zimmer macht einen Vintage-Eindruck. Die Klimaanlage lässt keine Temperatursteuerung, trotz Reklamation an der Rezeption, zu. Im ausreichend großen Bad sind keine (0) Handtuchhalter vorhanden. Fenstergriff und Heizkörper müssen dazu zweckentfremdet werden. Der wackelige Duschkopfhalter hat einen Schraubendreher notwendig. Der nächste Parkplatz ist ca. 500m an der Villa Carlotta mit Glück vorhanden. Die Lage des Hotels ist 1a. Schiffanleger und Bushaltestelle direkt vor der Tür, Restaurant, Bedienung sehr gut.

Boede på 5. sal med fantastisk god og flot udsigt fra lille altan. Deres “Morgenmad” er ikke speciel god. Det gode er at der laves omelet på bestilling. (“Juice” smager som syntetisk saftevand) Der er ikke P-pladser ved hotellet! De har en lille pool og spabad som var fint i varmen.

Great location on the lake, just across the street from the Ferry terminal. We had an amazing room overlooking Lake Como.
