'The staff and service at San Giuliano Inn Was exceptional! I felt like I was at home with family. They made me and my niece feel extremely welcomed! It is a great location! Upon arrival, I was a little concerned because there is some street const ruction! But I would stay here again, even with the construction! Their room was clean! Cappuccino was amazing!'

'This is one of the best locations where we slept in Florence. It’s in the middle of the city, close to everything you would like to see or do. The appartement is in a small street and is a mix of old and new. Everything was perfect and the owners really think of every little thing. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this gem in this great city. '

'The staff was very kind the check in was quick , the room was clean but very cold at night since they did stop the heating system. it was very easy to walk everywhere, lot of restaurants around and 5 minutes walk from the train station.'

'Typical Florence lodge - the total floor of an appartment block turned into a hotel with say 10 rooms. Usually much better price/quality ratio as formal hotels. This one was super-central on the 3rd floor, with elevator. High ceilings, spacious, good airco, clean. The minor disadvantage is that the check-in in such small places is not staffed all day and after 7 pm or so you have to enter using codes. That worked smoothly though. '

'Spacious, comfortable hotel in an unbeatable location (3 Piazza della Signoria)! The common sitting/dining area and large rooms feel very Florentine. Staff speaks limited English but are very friendly and helpful. Just keep an eye on the slightly convoluted check-in procedures (don't ignore your emails the day of arrival). '

'it’s a lovely place with high ceilings and rather big rooms but i had the bad luck of arriving in the pooring rain and there was no public transport since it was the 1th of may so ended up having to wait for a taxi for over an hour. very crumpy by that time… lady at the reception was lovely and helpful! my room was in the front of the building and very noisy so maybe take earplugs! otherwise a very nice place but for me a bit too far from the center as a solo traveler! '
