Because my sister lost her debit card at the airport the hotel turned her away at 130 in the morning. Even after I told the desk clerk to use my card info by phone and she has brain cancer they would not let her check in. This was the worst experience, ever. They said they would cancel the reservation free if charge.

Reception was very helpful. Our room was very clean and tidy. Shuttle from the airport is confusing and awkward. Evening food service was terrible. There was one person tending bar and serving food. Poor man was hopelessly overextended and the cook went AWOL so we couldn’t get served. The bar area is extremely noisy because of echo and acoustics.

Please give this hotel a chance. I was apprehensive after reading some of the reviews but I'm glad I kept my reservation. Lots of choices of eating in the hotel or many of the restaurants nearby. 20 minutes away from Clearwater. Easy to get an Uber or Lyft. I would advise parking yourself for $14 a day versus the 28 valet. You should park to check in and then ask how to get to the parking garage. Once you do it once you've got it. The only thing I would advise is to get some more chairs for the upstairs pool area. We will definitely stay here again if in the area.

Everything was clean and staff were helpful. I felt there were not enough staff during check -in. My only real disappointment was lack of coffee in the lobby. The cart was closed by 4 PM. Arriving after a 4 hour drive before an evening event I really was looking forward to a cup of coffee. The in-room small pot with powdered add in was not very appealing. Otherwise, it is a nice property and I would stay here again and bring my own coffee .

i was there for 2 nights. so i didn’t really “experience” the whole hotel as i always out with friends the whole time. just went to hotel room to shower and sleep. but for what i saw, the hotel is nice, clean, safe. the front desk staff was nice when check in and check out. the parking garage can be confusing a bit the first time but there were sufficient parking spaces as we can park on level 2 (hotel floor) and also level 3 (visitor spaces).

The only thing that would have been perfect was the need to have a microwave inside the room. That way you can warm up any leftovers.

I liked the building and lobby. Looked really nice. Only flaw in the room was the drain in the tub was very slow that it would fill up while showering.

Excellent and beautiful…a bit pricey for something that didn’t “Wow” me. Staff is GREAT, but housekeeping needs retraining. They always took my towels but never replaced , I had to call the desk to get more towels. (Don’t know what that was about) but overall not bad. But nothing to brag about as well.

The property was very nice and even though our first room had some issues; the staff quickly addressed them and made our stay very comfortable.

Marriot Gold member. Possibly the worst check in experience I have had. After making arrangements for a delayed check in due to flight issues was denied the ability to check in for a pre-paid room. The check in attendant who claimed she was the on duty manager claimed there was nothing that could be done, but I could pay for another room despite having already paid, and not yet checking in. After politely disagreeing for a prolonged period (over 20 min) was finally allowed to use the room “for less than 2 hours, just to shower”. Very negative experience. Wa planning to book for additional days on the tail end of my Florida trip, and will be staying elsewhere.

We tried to use the heated pool that you advertise, but it was not heat and they were drunk adults every time we went up there with beer bottles, and champagne bottles. It’s hard to have my children enjoy a pool that did not look anywhere near your advertisement when people are blowing up the F word. I hope that you are really affiliated with the Marriott because I worked there for 20 years and that’s not how I ran my hotel. It was disappointing, disgusting on the pool area and I would never recommend anyone ever to stay there.
