Rustige omgeving
Vriendelijke ontvangst, ruime kamer met bedbank. Badkamer niet helemaal schoon. Zwembad nog vol boom blaadjes, maar verder schoon. Goed en uitgebreid ontbijt. Goede uitvalsbasis om stadje te bezoeken.

There was nothing not to like. Ormand, the manager, sets a tremendous example to his staff and they are all clearly very happy in their work. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone. Stunning location, everything one could want.

We have stayed at this property, on another occasion, and I seem to remember liking the room more than I did this time. I needed to use my computer and there was no desk in the room. There was a table but it did not have an appropriate chair that I could use.. The room overall felt a tiny bit shabby. A very loud fan and a few small irritants. I should note that it looked as thought they might be doing renos. There were large containers outside on the side of the hotel that our rooms were on. The hotel is very well situated in a lovely small enclave. Easy access to everywhere on the island. The woman who checked us in was lovely.

I used to stay at this property when I was a kid, so I was pleasantly surprised to see the upgrades to the rooms & the grounds are kept so beautifully. The breakfast is top notch!

Travel quite a bit and use Expedia and its ratings to find the best deal for properties that review well. The Best Western did not disappoint. Easy location, Was clean, quiet, and the staff was a 10. Lunch facility was spotless, and the women running it had a world class personality. Fantastic. Even the manager who walked thru every AM was engaging and very nice. Great place made even better by fantastic staff.

Undergoing some renovation, so a bit of construction going on. Our room had been done. Very nice. Comfy beds. Breakfast buffet better than many. Coffee was very good. Pool area very nice , but closed due to renovation.

Not the best stay
The hotel looked really nice from the outside, but our room smelled really bad of smoke. Despite being a non smoking hotel, the carpet was just trashed. It was carpet that should have been replaced 10 years ago. There were stains and just dirt embedded in it and the smell. Carpets hold smells and it was awful! The front desk girl was super friendly. She tried to make accommodation, move me to a two queen room, but I booked a suite. She said no suites available. I asked for some fabric refresher spray just to tame down the smell of the room. It was really bad. We tried to keep the door open to air out the room but it was the carpet so it didn't even matter if we "air" out the room. I did not sleep well. The pillows were too thick. It was a rough night. Breakfast wasn't that great. I didn't have the eggs and sausage but my partner did and it did not look good. The coffee wasn't great. The waffle was fine. The last night we had breakfast at a diner because we didn't want the breakfast there. The cable satellite was bad too. Constant lag due to "weather" despite it being sunny. I was looking forward to the hot tub but it wasn't open. The front desk was very sweet and helpful so that's a plus. She mentioned that I would get a discount but I haven't seen anything yet or received an email or call from the hotel. Maybe after renovations, this place might be nicer, but my experience wasn't the best and we take about 4/5 trips a year and stayed at plenty of hotels.

Nightmare at Best Western Plus
First of all, trying to find the room was difficult. It was not easily accessible with inadequate luggage trolley. Not "senior" friendly at all. Once I entered the room, there was a used paint brush in the room; someone had been on the bed and had used the bathroom. I was offered another room (suite) which was not much better. The room phone was not working (no dial tone) and there was no internet (wi-fi) service available. However, I must say that the front desk employees were friendly.

Hotel allowed an extremely noisy party to go on through the night. When we contacted front desk about the hotel's policy about "quiet hours", person on duty had never heard the term and said there was nothing they could do about it. We chose this hotel thinking that being it was on the island it would have been quieter than staying on the interstate. Next time will stay on the interstate at half the cost.

Terrible rooms
In the past the stays were fine and I'm not a complainer, but this trip the room was horrible. There were stains all over the floor which looked like vomit or spilled food. I was afraid to walk on the floor without shoes one. The room was so humid that our bedding was damp. The shower had no water pressure. I had more water pressure from a kitchen sink. Thebwater wpuld trickle out. The hot water would come on and then go to cold, then changed it's mind and be hot again. The woman employee at breakfast that help get food together was so nice. She was the only good thing about the stay.
