Staff is not very friendly. Rooms are small. Hotel is very noisy. It is a neighborhood where you don't want to walk at night. Would not recommend this one. Will stay somewhere else next time.

Het ontbijt was in de kleine lobby van het hotel. er staan maar 3 tafeltjes om aan te eten, dus niet altijd plek om te zitten. Veel keuze om te eten was er niet. Je kon brood roosteren maar er was enkel confituur om er op te smeren. Verder waren er nog twee soorten yoghurtjes en voorverpakte ontbijtkoeken. De kamers waren wel zeer netjes onderhouden.

Great value, a tastefully renovated double room (203) comfortable bed and bedding, well, situated for walking. Breakfast was simple but appreciated. Staff helpful and friendly. Stayed one night only. No elevator, but they say they are installing one, so if stairs are an issue, ask for a lower floor.

I recently stayed at the Signature SF and had a very pleasant stay. It's not a fancy hotel, but for the price point, I got my money's worth. My room was clean, quiet with decent room amenities. The front desk staff was very friendly and attentive when I needed something. I was coming in from out of town so wasn't too familiar with the location. But the hotel was within walking distance of a lot of the places I wanted to check out, or easily get a Lyft or Uber. I was able to park my car right across the street from the hotel with no problem. I would definitely stay at the Signature Hotel SF again.

The room is so small that two of us can barely open our suitcases. Toilet was not properly cleaned when we got our room. The hotel has quite some distance from actual city centre or metro station, and the area is sketchy in the evening. Lift (elevator) was not available during out stay, and in the foreseeable future. We had been assigned with a room on 3rd floor (US counting, ground floor 2 level) so we have to move our suitcases with stairs. We saw mechanics installing the lift, which is far from done. And the hotel did Not mention anything on No Lift in the booking page or confirmation! The young man who work at night is nice though; which is the only good about this hotel.

Although the rooms are newly renovated, they have no place to hang your clothes and no drawers for longer stays. No elevators functioning yet. Reception does not answer the phone because they are using it for outside callers rather than hotel guest services. Stairwell is extremely tight and made carrying luggage up two flights almost impossible, and painful on the back. Expedia is partially to blame because nowhere did it say this hotel was not handicap friendly. I could only handle going down and up once a day due to back and hip issues. It was incredibly inconvenient and spent my four days in pain from the conditions.

The tv was broken. They did not have the room I reserved 45 min prior and to top it off they charged me $30 for parking...did I mention the elevator is missing...no you didn't read that incorrectly, gabbing hole where elevator should be.

My bathroom smelled so bad before it was even used and it smelled like a porta potty the two days i was there. There was no elevator which made bringing my stuff up super hard. Other than that it was a chill spot. Nice food areas in walkable distance. The front desk staff was super nice and accommodating. I loved that parking was covered and my car was safe

The hotel we stayed at was not clean at all. The carpets were really dirty which caused the place to have a musty smell. We found cockroaches in the room, and they are doing some construction in the hotel, which makes the place have a lot of dirt. The bed ships smell like they did not clean it at all, there was stain on it, the pillows were super hard and impossible to sleep with them. I would not recommend it. Poor hygiene. I was so uncomfortable that I had to book another hotel and leave the next day and lose all the money because they would not refund. It was a really bad experience.

Rooms were comfortable, and the room options for 4 or 6 people with bunk beds, made it a great and affordable place for families. The area isn't the best but it is walking distance to public transport and most things. The lifts is currently being renovated so stairs are the only option and there is a fair bit of work noise and mess as a result. I would avoid for the next 6 months. Overall not a bad place to stay though, the service staff were very friendly and helpful

I know parking in SF is both inconvenient and unsafe: that being said, there was a GATED parking garage with security, which was a big plus for me. Staff was nice, rooms were VERY small and snug, but super clean. The biggest con was the area. It's like straight-up "The Walking Dead" outside, full of homeless and druggies 24 hours. I especially did not feel safe crossing into the subway. Even though the hotel was fine, I will def not be going back to the outdoor safety.
