Having said that, I'm having trouble correlating "Very nice property", "road noise", " great home" and " ample parking" with the rating of a 1. Maybe you could provide more feedback that would shed more light on your less than acceptable 4 night stay?

Lance, thanks for your feedback. We take all feedback seriously as we strive to make our guests experiances the best it can be. You could tell that by the quality of the house. However, I have to take issue with your comments about the KOA. The KOA is over a half mile away from our house and your assumption that it "would not be enjoyable in the summer given the increased activity" when you stayed with us in January has no merrit. In fact, in the 6 years our house has been a vacation rental we have not had a single complaint about the KOA. Also, its abvious by you review, that you have a beef with VRBO and I believe you took that out on your review. All fees were disclosed to you prior to you booking and yet you still chose to book our home. Also, our property manager, on direction from me the owner, asks that people using our home do the bare minimum tasks prior to leaving. That includes, take out your trash, start the dishwasher (provided there are dishes) and start a load of towels. Thats it! I have you have a better experiance during your next stay in Colorado at a hotel that you select, I just hope its not during the summer when the hotel has increased activity including in the room next to you.
