'We were changed to a cheaper room without consultation. Room had onsuite and looked ok, but on closer inspection, there was no WC. We had to use the lobby toilet. Inconvenient and embarrassing for those who need a loo in the night. We recieved a discount on request. Breakfast was initially ambiguous as no clear rules on where/how. Eventually after making a start ourselves, we were waited on. This nice villa is better suited to rent as a whole, than as individual rooms/ guests.'

'Accommodatie is oud, en erg gedateerd. De eigenaar kwam om 21:00 al zeggen dat het stil moest zijn. Terwijl we alleen zaten te praten. Tevens het verwijt dat er niet gegeten of gedronken mocht worden op de kamer. En dan bedoel ik , thee of koffie. Al met al erg onvriendelijke mensen. Spreken alleen Frans en alleen de mogelijkheid contant te betalen. Geen fijne plek om te verblijven '

'Lovely place, and very nice owners. Great rooms and beds. The pool was fun, and the hot tub very nice. And the breakfast was fantastic. The only thing to be aware of is that if you don't have a car it's hard to get to (taxis are hard to come by in Amboise), and a decent walk from downtown Amboise.'

'We had a wonderful holiday at le moulin de la follaine. Its a calm and quiet, lush place and a great location from which you can travel to all the wonders of the pays Loire. We stayed at the gite, resembling a cute cottage, for a week and a half. There is a beautiful private garden when you rent the gite, but the whole premise (pond included) is accessible, very pretty and filled with animals such as 4 great cats, geese and chickens. 'Aucune flexibilité, une annulation car impossible d'arriver avant 22h. Pas d'aide apporté... A fuir si vous êtes passage pour le business. J'ai du chercher en dernière minute un autre hôtel.'

'eerste indruk was negatief, zwervers in de straat, geen parkeerplaats zoals ze wel beloven bij de reservering. Auto wel eenvoudig betaald kunnen parkeren naast de zwervers die 's nachts ergens anders een slaapplaats hebben. receptie gaat pas om 17:00 uur open, dat past niet bij deze tijd! Zwembad en fitness zijn afgesloten als de receptie niet bemand is. Dit is waardeloos omdat de receptie zeer beperkte openingstijden heeft. Dus eerste indruk is slecht, achteraf toch een redelijke accomodatie....
