'Mooie plek en heel origineel ingericht volgens de stijl van het huis , geschiedenis en omgeving. Eigenaar wist erg veel te vertellen over de lokale wijnbouw. Sprak prima Engels. Heeft ons heel goed geholpen met het boeken van een restaurant in de buurt ( uitstekende keuze) , ontbijt prima en uitgebreid. Heel leuke accomodatie'

'Magnífico establecimiento cerca de St-Émilion y de los viñedos. Ayse, la manager, nos recibió fantásticamente bien. Es muy profesional, atenta, cercana y siempre con una sonrisa. El edificio, los jardines y el entorno son muy bonitos.. Es un lugar tranquilo con muy bonitas vistas al río Dordogne. La habitación muy cómoda. 'Nous avons séjourné dans l’appartement juste à côté de la maison d’hôtes. C’était parfait: silencieux, propre, moderne et décoré avec soin. Et que dire du petit déjeuner servi le matin, à l’heure que vous le souhaitez soit dit en passant! Meilleur déjeuner de tout notre voyage! Les hôtes ont su nous accueillir chez eux comme dans un hôtel prisé. On m’a même aidé à monter ma valise en haut des escaliers! Des petits détails qui font une différence. Merci encore! '

'Fabrice was kind and helpful, and the breakfast was a nice touch. There are thoughtful details in the room like micellar water, hand soap, shampoo and body gel. However the room we stayed in was VERY small and there was no place to put our clothes or suitcases. '

'We stayed here for a few days around a rugby world cup match, and it was a really lovely start to our trip. The chateau is beautiful and so peaceful - perfect for when you want to retreat from the chaos! The bedrooms are spacious and so well made up, and we were provided with evaporative cooling fans in the room to help with the heatwave. As it's more remote, you will need to travel a little for lunch and dinner, but it's absolutely worth it for such a unique stay.'

'What an experience! Sebastian and Sylvie could not have been accommodating, friendly and welcoming. We were so very well taken care of and as it is winter and we were the only ones staying that night, they showed us each of the unique 5 suites they offered. Each was welcoming, warm and well accoutermented with its own charm and appeal. The garden, in summer, would be an additional special place to enjoy, we expect to see that in our next stay. We were advised on transportation, restaurants...

I'm not a Princess but... the Moulin interior decor was somewhat disappointing - nasty plastic storage cupboards in kitchen and bathroom really cheapen the look which could easily be made more ' luxurious' with a visit to a Brocant and a little...
