Good budget accomodation near the airport (10 minute drive). Nothing that distinguishes it from any other Holiday Inns, for some that's a good thing. Swimming pool was closed during our stay, we didn't use the breakfast because of an early flight - would we have, we would have had to compete with two busloads of school students staying in the hotel. Walls are thin, you can hear everything, but luckily it was quiet during our stay.

Best price/quality near town.
Nice hotel. Renovated rooms, big enough for 4. Daily maid service, good. Classic rectangular pool ; towelservice is certainly a plus ! Kids pool and poolbar available with good service. Restaurant is good, waiters should know a little more English tough. Snacks available in hotel bar from noon till late evening, verry good (look for combo promotions). Nice breakfast buffet. You will need a car to get to the city center. A medium car will cost you max. 100 € per week, taxi to the center will cost around 45 € for a one way trip... Uber 40 €... There is nothing near the hotel so best place to eat, drink or shop is the center or the Roma Est mall (foodcourt). Both are about a 20' drive away. McDonalds is 3km away but only accessible by car since it's on the highway/motorway... Overall experience : verry well.

It needs a big renovation, everything is old, there was also a problem with electricity. Manager does not allow to sit with our swimming suits on the coaches at the pool

verblijf Rome
We verbleven 4 dagen in dit hotel met onze kinderen van 5 en 3 jaar oud. We zijn verschillende keren op uitstap geweest naar het centrum van Rome. De eerste keer zijn we met de shuttle bus van het hotel (5€ per rit) gegaan. De volgende keren met de trein vanuit het station Muratella (5min. stappen)en vervolgens metro. De tickets kosten 1.5€ en zijn 100 minuten geldig op al het openbaar vervoer (trein, metro, bus) in Rome. Je kan deze tickets kopen in het winkeltje van het hotel. In de buurt van het hotel is weinig te beleven.

Moeilijk met inchecken duurde meer dan 25 min Ondanks dat ik vooruit had betaald via Hotel.com, moest ik toch nog eens extra 6 euro betalen voor, naar zeggen, een soort toeristen belasting. Daarbij koste een ritje met de taxi van 8 minuten naar het vliegveld € 30,=. fixed price..wat een beetje over de top is

Shuttle locatie fuimicino is bij de TAM bushaltes. Of je kunt wachten bij arrivals en dan voor de deur t busje aanhouden als t voorbij rijdt. Bar is duur en ook toeristenbelasting 24 euro voor een gezin van 4 per nacht.

Teleurstellend hotel want geen enkele voorziening in de buurt en veel te ver van het centrum. Avondmaal besteld op kamer: slecht van smaak en bijna koud. Geen gratis shuttle naar metro en verplicht metrotickets te bestellen, terwijl we deze eigenlijk al hadden.

Only positive is distance to airport. Property is very outdated, bed is uncomfortable and very low to the floor, and room smelled like old wet carpet. I do not recommend staying here. The room had a huge space where a bed or sitting area should have been. It was quite awkward.

Gut war die An- und Abfahrt, relativ easy, ohne sich ins Verkehrsmoloch Rom begeben zu müssen. Allerdings geht von diesem Hotel aus zu Fuß gar nichts - auch keine Restaurants. Die Bahnlinie bildet die Barierre, und Gehsteige sind lediglich ansatzweise vorhanden. Die nahe Buslinie führt nicht ins Zentrum und die (U-)Bahnstation ist nur umständlich zu erreichen. Also selber fahren - oder Taxi (kostet 25 bis 30 Euro ins Zentrum)! Ein Restaurant hat das Hotel auch ... da gibt es allerdings nur eine kleine Auswahl, nicht super schmackhaft und einiges überteuert. Der Pool ist in heißen Tagen was wert! Doch Achtung: Bademützenpflicht... !!! Die Duschen zum Pool sind leicht versteckt und werden selten genutzt. Jeder hüpft also tüchtig durchgeschwitzt in den Pool - das ist o.k. Aber wehe die Bademütze fehlt (vor Ort für ein paar Euros käuflich zu erwerben). Ist offensichtlich eine italienische Marotte, die auch andernorts gepflegt werden soll. Frühstück im Hotel ist sehr reichhaltig und umfangreich, da kannst nicht meckern. Viele Amis als Gäste, nomen est omen. Ansonsten halt ein großer Bunker, etwas in die Jahre gekommen - Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit.

It runs on a regular basis during the day and there is also a public bus which is available just at the exit of the hotel to reach downtown which is only 12 km far from our Hotel. Very comfortable and close to the airport. Temporary parking for registration and unloading should be free with an hour time limit and not having to hassle with getting a parking ticket for the exit machine. The food machine beeped all night long. I suggest having a staff person do a late evening check on each floor

Dear Laurent,Thank you for choosing our hotel for your stay in Rome.Although the location is in a suburban area, it becomes strategic as it places the hotel halfway between Fiumicino airport and the center of Rome. In about 20 minutes you can reach the center. In fact, the hotel shuttle can take guests to the nearest underground station (it is necessary to reserve a seat at least 24 hours in advance) and with just a few stops you can reach the most characteristic locations of ancient Rome.Once again, thank you for your thoughtful comments.
