One of our best stays in Italy. Service was impeccable. Clean room with beautiful views. Superb Michelin star Zass restaurant. Breakfasts were amazing. Staff’s attention to detail. Superb views. Great spa experience.

My partner and I have had our fair share of travel in beautiful destinations and hotels. However, nothing comes even close to Il San Pietro Positano. A truly breathtaking property with an out of this world service. Everyone greeted us by our first name during the entire stay, they did not charge us a deposit at check in, nor did they ever ask us to sign for any of our bills. They truly make you feel like you’re a guest in a private mansion. The whole experience was beyond seamless and we felt like we were a part of the Il San Pietro family by the time we left. We cannot wait to come back!

One of the finest hotels we have ever been at! The views are spectacular, and the staff is warm and welcoming. Do not miss the complimentary boat rides at 11:30…swimming off the boat and seeing the coastline was a highlight! Truly one of the most special hotels in the world!

This hotel was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived we were blown away. We travel alot and this was one of the best hotels we have stayed in, in the world. The staff we so friendly and went the extra mile to make sure we were taken care of. The hotel setting is breathtaking!! We will be back for sure!!

The best of the best
This was truly one of the most amazing hotels I have been to and I travel quite a bit. Service and attention to detail impeccable. Outstanding location away from the overly congested shopping area of Positano. Some of the most beautiful views and incredible food at both Zass and Carlino. Positively a world class experience. I will definitely return and spend more time at the hotel enjoying the beautiful grounds, spa, pool and private beach.

We have stayed at great resorts and properties all over the world and this is hands down the best hotel we have ever stayed in. The staff was unbelievable, the cocktails were incredible, and we had two of the best meals we have ever eaten at Zass. We will be back for sure.

This is an incredible hotel with outstanding service. The property is stunning, the amenities include a beach club, spa & fitness center, yoga & Pilates, tennis courts, and daily boat excursions. They offer free shuttles into town. The rooms and sea views were spectacular. The two restaurants on site will not disappoint. The terrace is a dream. Our recent 5 day stay was magical from the time we checked in until the time we checked out. We would highly recommend Il San Pietro!

My Wife and I had just got married (in Positano). Our stay was simply flawless. As a matter of fact, it was so amazing that we decided to spend our whole 2 days in the hotel (rather than going out for lunch or to visit other Cities). Il San Pietro is a stunning property uniquely located on the cliffs of Positano over several levels. What makes it unusual is the lift that takes you down to their private terraced beach. We decided to arrive by boat, something I’d highly recommend. As you approach the HSP, you see it in all its glory from the bay of Positano. We were welcomed by 2 staff at the jetty - instantly feeling very much at home and cared for. Throughout our stay, the consistency of the service, quiet yet always there, stood out above any other hotel We’ve used. Our room was perfect. Decorated with local majolica tiles and in crisp, clean colours with everything we needed. The hotels many public spaces are interesting and very well groomed. There are magnificent terraced gardens, mainly used for growing produce for both restaurants, that fall down to the sea. You can stroll Down the steps, all 400 of them, to the tennis court carved out of rock, Il Carlino restaurant and the beach side. Overall, Il San Pietro is a faultless hotel offering a superb mix of geniality, privacy, service and entertaining people. We can’t wait to return.

Excellent experience as usual, with GM and all staff always looking to help. Our Deluxe room 57 was fully renovated and had a lot of local charm. We enjoyed a complimentary Napolitain pizza class on the terrace which was very fun and insightful. We’ll be back!

L'Hotel non è solo ubicato in un luogo spettacolare ma ha un Personale numeroso, sempre disponibile e premuroso di accontentare i clienti in ogni modo! Il cibo è eccezionale e solo la prima colazione merita un soggiorno al San Pietro... Da tornarci appena possibile!

This hotel has the best views and the entire hotel smells like flowers. Friendly and helpful staff make your stay even more enjoyable. Plenty of amenities, complimentary boat ride and shuttle into Positano town for shopping & dinning. Our room was very clean and really nice. We came for our honeymoon and had the best experience of Italy here. We definitely will be back for a longer stay very soon and highly recommended to anyone visiting Positano.. Worth every penny!

The hotel is immaculate with great views and in great spot of Positano. Great and caring staff. My wife had a medical emergency at hotel and all staff, especially including owner Carlo Cinque, were very professional and kind. Carlo spend his entire Sunday with me navigating and helping with translations, etc as my wife and I dealt with various medical staff. Super caring and great people at San Pietro hotel.
