'Good points: the location and the parking area, the politeness of the staff. The cleanliness of the room with convenient sockets. I appreciated the fact that at least a few of the staff spoke Welsh (my first language). Bad points: the bed was the most uncomfortable of the 3 hotels in which I stayed this holiday. Perhaps my experience might have been different if I'd paid for a better room. '

'Our overall experience was very good. However on three separate occasions we were awoken by other inconsiderate guests despite the signage asking people to be quiet at certain times. This meant we had to get out of bed in the middle of the night to ask people to be quiet. We understand this isn’t a fault of the hostel but thought we would mention it and suggest maybe a bit more clear signage or make it more clear to people when they check in. 'This is a lovely place to stay. We were well looked after, my gluten free dietary needs were catered for and the staff were very accommodating. The house is old so we expected that the rooms might be ‘quirky’ but we had a dangerous fault with our shower that could have resulted in serious scalding incident. We have informed the managers so they can deal with it. Dinner was 5* as you’d expect in a place with a chef of this calibre - wine and port also excellent. Pricey, but not excessive....

'Absolutely fantastic pretty, well-equipped chalet and super smart outdoor furniture on great patio right on the beach in a perfect location. 'We had a perfect weekend in this gorgeous cottage. Sam had the hot tub ready for when we arrived and a selection of goodies! The cottage was spotless and we loved the decor. The outdoor area had comfortable furniture, lovely plants and was not overlooked making it a great place to lounge after using the hot tub. Sam has obviously gone to great lengths to ensure that her visitors feel at home and have everything they need for a relaxing break. We will definitely return!'

'We really enjoyed our mini-break stay in this lovely roomy well-presented and clean apartment so close to the sea front promenade and 10 minute walk from the town. There was a little noise with entry /exit of upstairs residents. Really good value for money. Thoughts for improvements: TV capable of receiving terrestrial channels and the bedroom would benefit from a better more comfortable mattress. Highly recommended and we would be happy to stay again.'
