'This was a marvelous villa and the beach was a private gem amongst the resorts. The house was perfect for 2 families with elementary school aged children. The pool area is lovely, perfectly maintained and the beach is wonderful. The surf is so fun - big enough to bofy surf but shallow enough to be safe for the littles. 'The house is much more beautiful in person than in the photos, the view from the suite with the lake and the golf course is incredible. The pool and common areas are very well-maintained and there's never anyone around; we enjoyed the pool all to ourselves even during peak season. 'Casa Del Mar Bonito is just beautiful in many many ways. The property is grand, clean, exceptionally located right on the beach and everyone from Hana to Chef Alex were a "chefs kiss" to make sure our stay was not one to forget. 'Kevin was a responsive host and helped us with the booking of a good catamaran tour. We liked the location of the property as it was close to areas with restaurants and beach clubs. We felt safe in the neighborhood. The downside of the location is the noise. The property is next to a bus station whose PA system can be heard inside the apartment. 'This place was a tropical paradise within a short walking distance to the beach and lively 5th Avenue. There are nightclubs very close by but we felt very safe. There are two locked gates to get through and one is a private gate for this villa alone. The noise was not bad at all mon-thurs night but did increase a bit on the weekend. Still not much of an issue unless you are a light sleeper you may want earplugs. 10/10 experience!'

'We had an excellent stay here with friends and family, including four young children. It really is a lovely place. A bit of an issue with the water pressure, so everyone had to shower in the main en suite. Also, the beach is definitely not a five minute walk since you have to walk all the way around a few resorts. Would definitely stay here again.'
