'Very friendly host, comfy bed and nice bathroom. Beams were a little low near the bed so remember to duck! Plenty on offer for continental breakfast including homemade bread. Due to covid we struggled finding places to eat however we were able to use the oven in the kitchen to heat up some food we bought from the nearby co-op. We visited the reindeer centre and it was amazing I thoroughly recommend this trip!'

'Mooi, groot huis. Keuken en badkamers ( wc’ s spoelen echter slecht door. ) goed uitgerust. We hebben prettig verblijf gehad en veel buiten kunnen zitten. Dan valt op dat er buiten rondom veel achterstallig onderhoud is. Desondanks hebben wij er een heel prettig weekend gehad.'

'Not our first time and not our last at the Woodland lodges. Great deal for families or groups. Lodge is roomy and well maintained. In the heart of Aviemore, easy to walk the strip. Had great weather so walked everyday. Breakfast buffet welcome start to the day. '

'To start with the positive, the staff at the reception was extremely friendly and helpful and the view is amazing. The property is well outdated and run down (1980s). The outdoor hallway is a desaster area. There are no restaurants, coffees, shops etc. open in the evening which would typically be the arrival time The hotel next door is the most unfriendly place I have ever come across..... they do not serve Highland Club Residents and therefore there is nothing you can get to eat within 45!...

'The cottage was small but comfortable enough for a couple. It was clean throughout and well maintained. The description on VRBO is accurate. The owners, who are both friendly and approachable, live in an adjacent property on the same site. Pitlochry makes and excellent base for exploring central Scotland. The town has a large Coop supermarket and numerous places to eat.'
