Very nice property, excellent. Convenient to shopping and dining. They offer for valet parking for €23 a day. I would’ve rated it at five, but we’ve been to other hotels in Sicily that were significantly more luxurious and where staff were much warmer. I recommend that if you’re going to Palermo, you don’t need or want your own car to get around the city. Just walk or take a taxi. Parking is very difficult and it’s not an easy city to drive in. And I drive in New York City.

We had a great time in Palermo and enjoyed our stay at Hotel Politeama. It is situated convenient to shopping, restaurants and all of the sites in the historical area of Palermo. We especially appreciated the rooftop bar and restaurant where we enjoyed a glass of wine each night and appetizers. The breakfast was also very well done. The staff is wonderful. We took the shuttle bus to the airport that stops right outside the hotel. Very convenient and much less expensive than other options. The only concern we had was that our room was warm. We talked to the staff and they explained that they don’t turn the air on during this time of the year (January) and the large window is beautiful but allows the sun to heat the room. They suggested some options with the window and drapes that worked well. They also were willing to move us to an interior room but we decided to stay where we were. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

The location is so central to everything just by walking and if you need the bus, its steps away from the hotel entrance. So convenient. Did I mention how good the breakfast was? Oh yes.

Modern Hotel in Great Location!
Had a great three-night stay here with my grandma and sister! The hotel was very modern, in a great location and the staff were all very helpful! The room was nice and big and the bathroom/shower were amazing. The breakfast was also lovely - would 100% stay here again!

Location was great! Close to everything. We loved the rooftop bar in the evening with a great view of square. Also if you have a car no worries about trying to find a place to park. Hotel has an agreement with a parking garage that comes and picks up your car and will bring back your car to you within 15 min. We enjoyed our stay for 3 nights.

Great choice for a visit to Palermo
Hotel Politeama is conveniently located within walking distance of the old city sights but in a quieter part of town. The bus from the airport is right across the street. The room was comfortable, clean and modern. The breakfast buffet was very extensive and the staff was respectful and friendly. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Our overall experience was good, but the last evening at the hotel was very disappointing. There was pounding music from the rooftop bar coming into our 8th floor room! until well after midnight, and although we were assured it would stop, it continued. We did not sleep well and to compound it, we had an early check out time. There was no apology or communication from the management, even though we filed a complaint with the front desk.

Valet parking at the property, right in the middle of the action, super-friendly and helpful staff. Great 4* hotel in Palermo. Be sure to stop by the rooftop bar for a nightcap! Stayed here at the beginning and end our Sicily trip.

Front desk staff is fantastic and very helpful. Room amenities are very good and the bathroom is spacious and very clean. The rooftop bar was great, yet a bit pricey. However we had a wonderful spacious room with a terrace where we enjoyed wine and watched the action in the square below. They also have valet car service. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

We booked a room with city views instead was looking at a staircase and wall. As it was my boyfriends birthday the actual time we were there I asked if any other rooms available. I was told NO. Other rooms similar to ours seemed vacant. I am still having on going discussions with property regarding city tax which I have confirmation email to say I'd already pre paid but was told I had to pay at the property? No facilities for 4* hotel - not advised of rooftop bar/restaurant or anything on check in. Made to feel quite inadequate.
