'My wife and I chose this area for our 21st wedding anniversary and I did not disappoint. The lake with cypress trees was gorgeous along with the peace and quiet. The Cabot had everything we needed and the sleepnunber bed was definitely an added plus. Location was very close to local casinos and historic Jefferson,Tx. 'This place is off the beaten path and really unique. This place can comfortably sleep 8 people and has plenty of outside deck area. Although we aren't fishers... This is a great place for people who fish. The grandkids loved the loft room and unique steps up to that room. The place was clean and had plenty of linens and beach towels. We had a great time.'

'The hosts live super close and we met them right away. Keith was about to go for a ride in his mud boat and asked us to join him. Words cannot describe how much we enjoyed this. We seen parts Caddo Lake that most people will never see. Our room was super clean and quiet. The property is beautiful with a large well kept lawn that leads you right to the water. I can’t say enough good things about this lodge and the hosts. I hope we get to go again soon. Thank you both so such a wonderful weekend!...

'Great cabin for me and my sons. We spent 2 days fishing. Easy place close to cabin to launch our boat. Quiet. Also ate at the nearby Mexican restaurant which was great with fast service.'

'This was a lovely, quiet spot. Keith, the owner, was on site, helpful, friendly and welcoming. He offered us his picnic pavilion as shelter for our car when a hailstorm was predicted. He also gave us free use of kayaks on his second property down the road (near a cypress bayou.) This is not a luxury property, but it is clean and pleasant. Make sure you know how to get there in advance. GPS may send you the wrong way and wifi may be spotty. '

'The Minnow Bucket was perfect in every way! Very close to the water, very cute, clean and quiet area. Yes, there are a few RV's parked in their places but they were neat and tidy and I rarely saw anyone else there.'

'We had a good stay at Caddo Lake, even though the recent rain made our boat tour cancel (due to launch site being under water). We went into Jefferson and took the historic trolly tour instead. The house was very close to the lake.'
