'Very good communication with the host Arnaldo. Easy check in with codes: no keys. The house was very clean. With four bedrooms the house was quite big but very comfortable for our family. The kitchen and furniture are a bit basic, but all new- seems to be recently built or renovated. For shops and restaurants it is a 15 minute drive through the hilly countryside, which was very green and lush when we were there in the rainy season.'

'We had four couples stay in the property and completely enjoyed it. The pool was the highlight but its location close to central La Fortuna was great for dining and getting groceries. 'The listing is exactly as pictured and described. The property is nicely secluded but still close to everything. It is easy to get to, yet private. We felt completely safe to walk around the property day and night looking for wildlife. 'The photos do not do the house justice. On arrival the house was clean and had all of the necessary kitchen and bathroom essentials. Each room had an individual bathroom with shower that had good pressure. The view of the arenal volcano was breath taking and the pool was a perfect way to stay cool down in the heat. 'Julian was a great host, he was always available and graves the best tips on what to visit and where to get the best deals for local attractions, his home is beautiful a piece of art in fantastic piece of land. Place to park your car, great bathrooms, do highly recommend. We only stayed 2 days but thanks to our host we maximized our stay'

Chambre décevante
"Nous avions réservé une chambre avec vue sur la montagne. Les photos étaient attrayantes: chambres revêtues de bois, belle vue, belle salle de bain, etc. La chambre que nous avons eue avait vue sur le restaurant! La salle de bain était vétuste, le sèche-cheveux ne fonctionnait pas, les lits ...moyens. Nous sommes restées 3 nuits et la chambre n'a jjamais été faite, les poubelles jamais vidées y compris celle de la salle de bains dans laquelle il faut jeter le papier hygiénique. Point positif: la gentillesse du personnel ! "
