Villa's in Matera

'Nice and pleasant villa in green environment. Walking distance from beach and multiple beach bars/restaurants allthough most of them were not yet open in 2d half of May.'

'Owner was a nice man. Check-in and check out was very easy. Advertisement needs to be adjusted in regards to beds. Number of sleeping places is correct, but its 3 doubles, a single (instead of twin) and aan outbuilding with a double bed. Not a problem if your couples, but if its just friends, prepare to get cosy with each other. Main room only has 1 couch (as showed on pictures) so prepare to drag in the garden furniture for extra seating on cold nights, if you are more than 3 people.'

'We really enjoyed our stay and couldn't fault it. The property was well equipped with everything we needed and spotlessly clean. Angela was very friendly and provided us with good suggestions of where to visit and where to eat. We travelled to many of the villages and towns she recommended and loved Basilicata. 'We are two young families who booked this wonderful property to use as a home base for traveling around together in Southern Italy and we are so glad we did. The home's proximity to Matera is perfect as it was only a 10 min drive and we were able to explore the city daily (the owner's recommendations for dining and sites were spot on) and then return to the expansive property and enjoy wine and the breathtaking sunsets while the kids played in the huge pool.
