A Riad is a Moroccan traditional house and protecting the original architecture and style is the most important thing in a riad which allows to the guests to travel back in time and discover how the wealthiest citizens such as merchants and courtiers lived in these houses which allowed for family privacy and protection. For these reasons we avoid everything that can change the history of these houses like TV in rooms... because these things exist in modern places like hotels... 99% of riads in Marrakech do not have TVs in the rooms. Regarding the service, our staff is always delighted to make our guests stays in Marrakech the most enjoyable and confortable and we are always at their entire disposal if they have any remarks, questions or queries but we will always do our best to improve our quality of service. Dear Nao, Many thanks for choosing our riad for your recent stay in Marrakech and for taking the time to share you review. We were so surprised because this is the 1st time we receive such feedback. It seems from your feedback that you were not happy with some points, most of them have no relation with our riad but we’ll try to give you our vision for each of them. 1. The riad is located in the Bahia area which is the most secured, and our location is ideal because we are at 2 minutes walk from Bahia Palace and 5 minutes walk from the famous place Jamaa Elfna square. If you do not like the Medina, you should not choose this destination because the Medina represents the history of Marrakech and all Morocco. It was founded in the 11th Century by the Almoravides and from that period it prospered and became an economic, political and cultural center of Morocco so by staying in this part of Marrakech you will travel back in time and discover the original Morocco with it’s typical buildings, delicious food and traditional life. In addition of that it is registered since 1985 as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. 2. We are carefully watching our equipment so we are very surprised by your comment about the fogging pipes. 3. Our breakfast contains: Milk, coffee, tea, orange juice, cake, Moroccan bread (Msemen, Harsha, Beghrir), butter, jams, honey, Raib, fruits, Pomegranate with yogurt... 4. Hivernage is a modern hotels area which is absolutely different than the historic medina. This is incomparable! 5. Regarding the room, it was ready at 3pm as it was mentioned in our internal regulations. This clearly mentioned the bad faith characterized on your part. 6. The excellent note we have in the most famous travel website is the proof that we are offering an excellent service to all our guests without exceptions. Best regards
