A unique hotel with a French atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The options for breakfast, lunch and dinner are special and very tasty. This is the perfect hotel to enjoy.

Not 5 star quality.
This hotel could be great, but they drop the ball a lot. This starts with the rooms being not that well maintained. Some doors are crooked and there is no furniture on the balcony. We tried the spa. It's supposed to have 2 bubble baths, but neither of them actually bubbles and there is a lot of mold on the walls and ceiling. We booked a romantic getaway for 2, but that lacks even more: The bubblebath again doesn't bubble and fits only one person (weird). The steam bath doesn't have light, making it creepily dark. The steam keeps blowing right in the middle and nevers tops, so couples need to sit far apart. There is constantly a cold airco blowing while getting the massage which really doesn't feel good. Asked to turn it off, they said it was off.. but they actually turned it off later. Went to the sports bar. Got half a margarita, a tequila sunrise without tequila and a Mojito without sugar. Opening hours of venues are just weird.. Like you open the pool in the morning, but cannot order any F&B until 11. Why?? When the pool closes, the whole garden closes, so you cannot take a nice stroll in the evening. The hotel has a lot of potential, but they really need to up their game to be a 5 star hotel.

Nice hotel, beautifully located on the shore. Great view, very nice swimming pool area. Rooms were a bit outdated and not well maintained, also did not feel like it was very clean. Might be the carpet in the room, I don’t know why hotels do that in such humid and warm places. Special thanks though to Russel from the bar, who gave as the most warm welcome!

The property at one time or another was operating i-2 elevators out of a total of 6. The property is closing at the end of June for remodeling/possible sale. As a result the staff wasn't motivated to properly accommodate guests. Just wish Expedia knew about the situation in advance

The best hotel in Manila yet tThd greeters,beauthe most affordable. Thank you so much for making it accessible to the middle class. No wonder there are a stream of guests continuing all hours of the day. The greeters beautiful in their splendor Filipina dresses make guests feel at home. Two places, a restaurant brimming with a cornucopia the most scrumptious Philippine delicacies, band strategically situated Ina magnificent circular stairway playing soft and easy-listening music was add a Deja Vu to the local Filipino guests. Friendly staff and quiet accomodation. The building is a bit old but very clean. But the main reason im coming back is that, Sofitel takes extra steps to help stray furry friends who need help. They provide a second chance for street felines to be rescue and adopted. This hotel is truly commendable.

We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights before flying back to our home country, the hotel resort is big although old. the room we got smelt muggy. hotel is close to Mall of Asia and they provide free shuttle service which was convenient for us. the restaurants are pretty pricey but we were able to order thru grab. we had breakfast buffet and also availed the promotional rate for dinner. staff are friendly. overall ambiance is great.

Stayed in this hotel several times and for some reason there’s always something even during my previous stays. I remember getting the same spot “roof view” than POOL VIEW! They really should clear that description it is very misleading!! Again this time, same thing again, booked pool view then I got the same roof view LoL Not only that, I was very disappointed that the room 867 with a “pool view” was only facing the roof of the building but also stinked like mold! As if the room wasn’t touched in weeks!! It is not healthy sleeping in a mold-smelly room!! Mold is bad for one’s health! I had to open the windows just to eliminate the smell. I checked in very late around 10pm so I didn’t have the energy to even bother asking to change rooms! I was exhausted and I just wanted to sleep. They said they upgraded me but I would’ve probably prefered whatever my original room rather than 867. The staffs in this hotel are their gem!

Rooms were nice though a bit of mildew in the shower. No working fan in the bathroom which would have helped keep it more dry and reduce mildew. Aside from that the hotel was fantastic. Very nice area, beautiful interiors and the breakfast buffet is arguably the best in the country

Positief: Netheid, personeel en service, voorzieningen en staat van de accommodatie en faciliteiten
Hotel is beautiful with nice on-site restaurants, especially Spirals and Snaps Sport Bar. Staff at Snaps and Pool side were great, personable and attentive. Doorman all helpful, especially Bill who assisted with transportation and recommendation places. Property doesn't have to many other restaurants nearby to walk to. Dislikes are water was disrupted for 2 days. Second day was over 6 hours with no water for Shower/toilet/drinking. Hotel should have provided more of their drinking water while service was out. Just allot of sorry's for 2 days. Room keys had to be fixed as they deactivated every day. Allot of getting to room and key didn't work,. Elevators took long wait times with volume of people for several days. Had to use the staff/service elevator a couple times that staff was running because of this. Had to extend the stay by one day since airline changed. Front desk could have easily done this; but instead told me to make a reservation for another additional day and then had to recheck back in again. This is a simple function to extend the stay if rooms are available that can be done fast by them, especially to stay longer in the same room.
