When we arrived at 8pm the room wasn’t ready yet, due to a strike of the housekeeping staff. The front desk couldn’t give an estimate of when the room would be ready. By 10pm the room was cleaned. There are a lot of airline crew in the hotel, those rooms were cleaned first. (Which I understand)
The kitchen chef was also on strike, so the breakfast was limited.
As a compensation they gave us complementary parking ($30/day), which was a nice gesture.
Unfortunately, the workers on strike started protesting in front of the hotel early in the morning which woke us up early. So we were not adequately rested.
The front desk staff was very supportive and friendly.
It could have been a nice stay because the hotel and room looks nice, is comfortable and clean. But due to the inconvenience of the strike, it was not worth the money we paid.
