Het is een rustig gelegen hotel. Ontvangst was rommelig, moesten aardig was papierwerk invullen. Na het inchecken bleken de kamers niet fijn. Zeer warm(!) aantal kapotte knipperende lampen… en tot de conclusie gekomen dat er geen aparte douche aanwezig was. Terwijl dit gevraagd was bij inchecken en toezegging voor gedaan was. Konden we alleen de kamer “upgraden” voor 30 pond per nacht. Omdat alle kamers met een aparte douche vol geboekt waren. Nou goed, wel gedaan natuurlijk. De kamers zijn verder netjes en schoon. Het ontbijt is netjes verzorgd met genoeg aanbod. Alleen geen verse koffie, maar uit een automaat (Jammer). Tijdens ons verblijf was de bar gesloten, voor onduidelijke reden. Werden drankjes apart geserveerd TOT 22:30u (!) dus een gezellige borrel na een voorstelling zat er niet in. Jammer. Bij uitcheck is niet gevraagd hoe het verblijf is geweest. Wat natuurlijk jammer is, gezien dat een gastvrije uitstraling geeft. We zouden zelf dit hotel NIET meer boeken. Niet door het personeel van de bediening of schoonmaak. Maar door de receptie medewerkers. Plus het geen dat de bar NIET open lijkt te zijn van Ma t/m Do en je hierdoor niet gezellig de dag kan afsluiten.

Royal Horseguards is een prachtig hotel, vlakbij de London Eye en metro station Embankment. Een prefecte plek om London te verkennen. Het is niet goedkoop, maar je krijgt echt waar voor je geld. En het uitzicht op London Eye is ook prachtig.

Rotal Horseguards Hotel i very nice. Easy walk to Big Ben, Westminster Abby, the London Eye, lots of pubs and souvenir shops. Very close to Trafalgar Square and museum. I have stayed here before and will again. The staff is wonderful.

Reception staff were rude. It took an hour to check in, as rooms were not Twin rooms. Even though I had telephoned reception 2 weeks earlier to check names and re check our Twin rooms booking. After a major discussion with 3 reception staff eventually and thankfully the Manager got us sorted. But it was a very disappointing attitude from reception staff.

立地は最高に便利な位置にあります。外観も共用部もまあまあ豪華な造りでした。今回のは眺望条件の無い予約でしたので贅沢言えませんが、宿泊した部屋は最下階(日本では2階)で窓を開けると汚いルーフに空調機が設置されており騒音も大きく残念でした。 このホテルに予約する際は最低限の眺望を条件にしたほうが宜しいと思います。

The location on the Thames was terrific, it is close to many of the things we wanted to visit, to assorted restaurants, shops, and the underground. The staff was polite, considerate and accommodating. The food was excellent, and we recommend the tea. Highly recommend.

Perfect location for us. Beautiful hotel. The only complaint was that we had 3 guests in the room and the property did not offer many options for a third guest. We had a very, very small, uncomfortable rolling bed for a third adult which was disappointing as we paid extra for a third person.

The hotel is perfect in every respect. The rooms are comfortable, the grounds of the hotel are beautiful, and the staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgable. The breakfast buffet was great as was the afternoon tea. The location of the hotel was also very convenient.

Fabulous property at the heart of it all, room was well appointed and very comfortable. A rollaway bed was already put in the room and I appreciated the fridge with a few goodies (although we booked with another room, and his fridge had wine beer and more goodies, still, the water and popcorn were appreciated) would highly recommend!

Beautiful building, spacious room with complimentary drinks provided, friendly staff and location was central with a tube station just around the corner. I would highly recommend!
