Best location for a city trip to London. Many attractions within walking distance and tube, busses and railway nearby. Very spacious rooms (for London standards), clean and a (free) mini bar that is restocked every day. Try to avoid breakfast around 9, as that is the busiest time an you might have to wait as the dining/breakfast room is quite small.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. We stayed two different times one on first part of trip second after going to Paris for a few days. They held some of our luggage for second part of trip and was placed in our room. Would definitely recommend this hotel for convenience and great staff

The Clermont was a great place for our group of 7 to stay. The hotel was lovely. The rooms were nice and the location was central to many of the sites we wanted to see. It was great to be within walking distance of so many things and transit options. It was difficult to navigate our way to our room because we were in another wing, but once we figured that out, the hotel was great.

This hotel will serve as a future home away from home for us. The room was large, quiet and clean. The staff were truly remarkable. William Rigaud, front desk manager, was utterly exceptional in his assistance, patient, efficient and concerned as to our welfare throughout our stay. Konrad, the restaurant manager, deserves a special mention for his excellent service as well as his team of wonderful servers, each one, eager to be of help. The breakfast is marvelous and plentiful and the dinner was excellent. We highly recommend this hotel. It is a winner.

Hard to get uber to come to the front of the hotel, loud outside the hotel at night, good amenities in the hotel room, could use more space in the room considering the price, long walk through 2 different elevators to get to the hotel room

We really liked the hotel and how convenient it was to all of London’s major attractions! It is located above Charring Cross station and really close to Embankment station. It was so easy to walk or get the tube anywhere you wanted to go! The staff was terrific and the room was lovely and nice and quiet! Will be back again when in London!

We had a great stay at The Clermont. Excellent location. Attentive staff. The only real downside was that our room required either taking 2 elevators or walking up many stairs and then taking an elevator. Also, lighting in the bathroom was inadequate. We would stay here again, but make sure access to room was more convenient.

Elegant Victorian style hotel located near many London sights. The room was spacious and neat, but the toilet was very hard to flush. Room service was contacted two times to fix the toilet plumbing, but alas the plumbing remained unfixed. The included breakfast was fantastic! Dinner at the restaurant was average. Staff were courteous and helpful.
