De service van het personeel was goed. De kamer minder goed, was wel schoon. Elke schone handdoeken, maar wel elke dag 1 handdoek te weinig. Te weinig hangers in de kast, geen haak voor een jas op te hangen, geen ventilator in de badkamer, de badkamerdeur kon niet dicht, de kamer te klein voor 3 personen.

Prima hotel waar het voor bedoeld is: uitvalsbasis in Londen te verkennen. Handige locatie op loopafstand van St.Pancras station en op 5 minuten lopen Russel Square metro station, was top. Kamer netjes, schoon, basic met voldoende ruimte. Housekeeping vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

The Royal National Hotel is een prima hotel voor als je niet teveel eisen hebt. Het ligt aan een iets wat drukke straat, dus geluid van de weg is goed te horen. Het ziekenhuis is dichtbij dus ook de ambulance komt vaak genoeg voorbij. Het is maar wat je hinderlijk vindt. Voor ons viel het mee, na een lange dag Londen waren we allang blij lekker ons bed in te duiken en hebben we geen last gehad van al deze geluiden (maar wij zijn geen lichte slapers). Bedden zijn prima, ietsjes hard, maar goed. Kamer ziet er netjes uit en wordt elke dag schoongemaakt. Douche heeft een goeie straal en ziet er schoon uit. Ontbijt is simpel, Englisch breakfast, boterhammen om te toasten, croissantjes, koffie, thee enz. Omgeving is heerlijk. Op 3 minuten afstand zit station Russel Square, op de Piccalilly Line. Binnen enkele haltes ben je zo op de bekende toeristische lokaties.

At the start our room wasn’t ready for checking in, we called before and they told us to come. No friendly welcome employees were very rude, the fire alarm went off at night and there was absolutely no communication whatsoever. There was total panic and they didn’t take control. When we were checking out we tried to talk to the employees what happened and we tried to tell them that we were really scared and didn’t feel safe at all there was no communication. They didn’t want to hear about it and send us away. We will never be going back here!

Het is een erg groot hotel en overal best netjes. Goede service bij inchecken. Kamers waren wel erg warm. Raam openzetten kon niet vanwege het lawaai van. Kamers lijken totaal niet op de foto. Staat is daarentegen best redelijk en schoon. Mooi dicht bij Underground station. Personeel mag echt wel wat vrolijker kijken. Leek meer op een bewakingsdienst af en toe.

De bedden waren oud, de matrassen zakten erg door en de veren waren voelbaar. Het dekbed was veel te kort. Vloerbedekking oud en niet erg fris. Badkamer klein maar schoon, genoeg waterdruk, fijne douche. Elke dag schone handdoeken. In bagage opslag is een souvenir beschadigd geraakt, waardoor mijn zoon heel erg verdrietig was. Manager vond 'dat het niet beschadigd was, want het was niet vies'. Erg onprofessionele houding, heeft de kans gemist ons toch als tevreden klanten naar huis te laten gaan (en dat voor een souvenir van 6 pond). Hotel niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

We were welcomed very warmly by Zubaur. He helped us with checking in and was very friendly. The other staff are friendly and helpful as well. The rooms are spacious and clean. The location is very good, a lot of underground stations at walking distance. The only minus is that the hotel and rooms are extremely noisy, when someone is being loud or walking by, it’s very much disturbing, especially while sleeping it can be quite tiring. Also keep in mind, there is no refrigerator. Other than that, the hotel it’s definitely recommended.

Het hotel ligt op loopafstand van Oxford street, op loopafstand van de bushaltes en op loopafstand van St. Pancras station waar we aankwamen met de trein. Dat was heel erg fijn! De kamers waren netjes, de lobby was mooi en er was zelf een supermarktje die 24/7 open was. Het hotel zelf was wel erg oud en zag er niet erg mooi uit. Maar dat is geen probleem gezien je de meeste tijd doornrengt in de stad of je eigen hotel kamer. Enige minpunt is dat het erg lawaaiig was. In het binnenplein gingen elke avond de tv's hard aan waarbij je veel lawaai van mensen hoorde. Ook de straat en de auto's waren goed te horen. Het Engelse ontbijt was heerlijk en er was veel keuze. Al met al een fijn verblijf gehad!

Please note that none of our Standard rooms offers hairdryers or safes, and mini-fridges can only be requested for medical purposes. Hairdryers can be requested via reception and we have safes downstairs in the main lobby for guests to use if needed. We are sorry if you were not aware at the time. Regarding noise, we do have procedures for controlling noise levels coming from within the premises. Please note that our reception is available 24/7, and if you would have brought this to our attention whilst in-house, we would have investigated this and rectified it for you. Fijn dat je online in en uit kan checken en de sleutel op je mobiel hebt! Daarnaast prima kamer, bedden wel wat hard. Goeie service op dag van vertrek een beveiligde ruimte waar je de bagage kan laten om nog wat dingen van de stad te ontdekken!

Simpel hotel….
Groot Hotel, simpele beetje verouderde kamers.. Douchen in bad…voor ons goed om in te slapen..maar verder geen luxe… Ontbijt simpel ,maar prima…. Metro en levendigheid snel te vinden buiten het hotel..Dus kwa ligging prima hotel… Prijs -kwaliteit vond ik aan de hoge kant…

Heel groot, net, druk, ietwat gedateerd hotel. Wij hadden een 3 persoonskamers welke wij wat krap vonden. Ook maar 2 stopcontacten kunnen ontdekken. Prima ontbijt maar let op de borden met de aanwijzingen qua drukte. Bij drukte is het ook perfect geregeld om na even wachten een tafeltje te krijgen. Inchecken heel makkelijk en bagageopslag bij uitchecken ook.
