Nice and clean room, very good breakfasts, fast check-in and -out, very close to Viktoria train station and underground. But don’t take room 102. Almost no water pressure in the shower and noisy as next to sliding doors.

The team was great - the concierge team in particular. The room was a good size and up to date. The location is next to Victoria Station so can be loud (as expected), but so very convenient. Restaurants and shopping nearby as well.

We had no air conditioning. The front desk said we needed to change rooms. After (we) moved all of our luggage to a new room, our second room also had no AC. The next day, we learned (from a maintenance man in the hallway) that the AC had gone down for the entire hotel. The front desk staff would not admit the problem or make any adjustments for our inconvenience. The hotel also seems to have IT issues. On checkout, they could not print a summary of our charges. They had to go to the dining room and individually print receipts for each day. Overall, I would say this property is not up to Doubletree standards.

Chose a family room to stay in room was 28c I was told they couldn’t move us to a new room. Offered a fan instead, no soap or conditioner in room. Following day still didn’t have any room available even though people were checking in/out. Moved to a different hotel same chain. Better room, better rate phenomenal service. Stay away from this hotel.

When we first entered the front desk was under construction with no direction as to how to complete check in. Wandered to the front desk and waited, someone finally came out from a back office. The air conditioner in our room didn’t work, when we asked them to look at it, it was clear two maintenance men went into our room but did not fix it or give any answers as to why they did not fix it. The thermostat was sent to 33C (91F). No matter how many times we lowered the temp, it did not cool down and just reset itself back to 33c. We basically slept in a sauna for two days.

My room was right by the train tracks and was a filthy mess! So many stains on the wall, tea kettle, sink faucet and floor. The bed had hair and stains on it. I wouldn’t be surprised if house keeping never changed the bedding from the last guest! There was someone else’s food STILL in the fridge! Five minutes after I got to the room, the receptionist called to ask me was I OK with the room. When I explained to her, I didn’t know I was going to be next to the train tracks and that its a lot of noise outside PLUS the room didn’t seem very clean. The receptionist said she would speak to her manager. She called back two minutes later saying they have no control of the trains and that it typically stops running around 9 PM. What was the point of her asking how I feel about the room if she’s not gonna give any solutions!? The manager could’ve easily asked if I wanted to change rooms further away from the train tracks. But she didn’t because they truly don’t care and it’s just their policy to ask. The next day I woke up with an insect on my pillow right by my head! I left for the day for 10 hours and when I came back, my room wasn’t cleaned. I had to go downstairs and let the receptionist know that no one cleaned my room and I needed fresh towels. The day before check out, I got a call from the receptionist asking how my stay was. I didn’t even waste my time explaining it because I know they weren’t going to do anything about it. I just decided to make my notes to post online.

Overordnet fint hotel med god beliggenhed. Superlækker morgenmad og fine faciliteter. Havde et værelse til 3, fungerede men ikke meget plads. Derudover værelse på 1. sal som vendte mod Victoria Station - det gav meget støj fra togene. Og det er generelt det, som trækker ned - men svært både med central beliggenhed og lidt støj, når vi nu er i en storby :-)

Poor cleanliness - Chewing gum on the bath towel. Poor maintenance in the room - no sound on TV channels, only radio & missing fixings in the shower. Poor maintenance in the fitness centre - two treadmills (one broken) & blank screen on cross trainer (hard to tell if working or not). Noisy - room 626 is next to double doors (that don’t close properly & bang together) & next to lifts. Outside bins were being emptied 2am to 4am - appreciate that’s out of the hotels control but doesn’t make for a restful stay & wonder if the hotel could put you in another part of the hotel

Excellent London place to stay
We were on a short break to London and stayed atvthis amazing hotel. It is right beside Victoria train station with access to all of London. The staff were extremely friendly and helfull. The rooms were excellent with terrific rain showers. The bed was very comfortable. We booked breakfast and were not dissapointed the choices and standards of food was excellent. We will definitely stay here again when visiting London. Thanks to the staff for avgreat weekend.

Had a lovely stay at this hotel. Great Location close to Train from Gatwick and Tube to get around London during our stay. Rooms were comfortable. Not huge but adequate.. Nice breakfast and very friendly helpful staff despite how busy it was

We were there for a funeral of a family member. At 9am construction crew started using jackhammers to break up concrete directly outside my first floor window. It was so incredibly loud that we had to get ready early and leave. When I talked to the front desk I was quite rudely told that they are allowed to do construction within certain hours of the day. My point really was that we were NOT informed or warned that this was the case when we booked the hotel OR when we checked in. This is unacceptable as far as I’m concerned for a Hilton and for the price I paid to stay in this hotel. When I pushed further the front desk continued to be unhelpful. I have a video of the noise and it shows the proximity of the construction to the hotel room window….DIRECTLY outside the window. I plan to persue this further and am thoroughly disappointed with the stay at this hotel and with the way the staff handled my complaint. As stated, I was there for a funeral with my elderly and handicapped mother and we couldn’t even stay in the room to get ready for the funeral before our check out time because the noise level was so uncomfortable. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone and feel strongly about the price I paid to stay for this kind of negative experience.

I would recommend this property. However I would like to point out that there were two bartenders who were amazing and one bartender/ waiter not sure who he was maybe the supervisor was very rude the way he treated the customers and his peers where not acceptable.There was also a weird smell before you got on the elevator that was pretty potent but you did not smell it beyond the doors of the floor. Everything else was really good and the staff was nice as well.
