Great hotel. Five star food, service, cleanliness, location. Cosy, nice atmosphere, good bar. Been to many places in the Zappa and this was probably the best. It looks dated but this just makes it authentic and genuinly charming. Only negatives would the the 1980’s multi gym! And the showerin the room was poor. Great overall.

The fee includes half board but we could not have dinner as there were no tables available in the two restaurants. The child was left hungry.

Cant wait to come back
Stayed for 4 days and could not have been made to feel more welcome, the valet, reception, bar and restaurant staff were all amazing. Beds were comfy, view was great, shower was hot with good water pressure, wifi was great and the chicken fingers and fries from the bar were delicious. Massage was lovely and although the pool was a little chilly on entry it was refreshing and had a great view

I had a great stay - thank you!
A true ski-in ski-out. The hotel has a rustic charm about it, and the service was good. It has a lovely lounge area with a fire place, nice pool, sauna and steam room. It does not have a hot tub though. Note that it's located in Meribel Mottaret which sits higher than Meribel Centre (a quick 10 minute free bus ride away). Very easy to get to the other resorts like Val Torens.

We loved the location of the hotel, however we found the hotel to be rather tired and not really befitting a 4 star property. The staff on the whole were super helpful and friendly, but the gym was not good and as one of our party was a non skier, this was a deal breaker, they had really looked forward to a decent gym. Sadly we also had problems with the internet which was frustrating.

Brilliant location ski in and out , nice comfortable room mountain view one are the best food was good nice breakfast and casual dining in the evening, loads of good restaurants within 200m also

Positive = location close to the lift, staff Negative = too hot inside the room and impossible to set the temperature, old bathroom, no water bottle, no coffee machine, no water boiler in room... not acceptable for a 4* hotel !

It eas very close to the lifts. A genuine ski in, ski out. While the wi-fi was always functional, signing in every time you moved around the premises, was a bit tedious. ( First World Problem! 😀)

Excellent location, extremely friendly and helpful staff. It would be nice to have a complimentary cup of tea available in lounge in afternoon after skiing, as many places do.

Hôtel correct sans plus pour un 4*, service médiocre par du personnel saisonnier mal formés, propreté limite, petit dej digne d'un Ibis aussi bien en qualité qu'en quantité, quant j'ai vu le petit dej, je n'ai jamais ni déjeuner ni diner au restaurant de l'hôtel, heureusement que la semaine a été ensoleillée..........

Apocalypse au Mont Vallon
Cet hôtel qui a été repris il y a 1 an ne correspond à un standing d’ 4 étoiles comme indiqué. Arrivée sur une pente enneigée même pas dégagée, aucun personnel pour prendre les valises à notre arrivée, brasserie qui possède de bons plats et desserts, par contre le soir seul 3 plats sont disponibles sur l’ensemble de la carte et la seule réponse que nous avons pu avoir, c’est qu’il fallait faire remonter notre mécontentement à la direction car ce n’etait pas la 1ère fois que la réflexion était faite. La serveuse du soir ne daigne pas dire bonsoir, il n’y a aucune uniformité dans les tenues de chaque personne. Le service de chambre est un roman tellement il y a d’oubli. Les personnes sont de bonnes volontés mais nous avions l’impression d’être dans un avion sans pilote. Dommage car le site vaut le détour. J’ai fait part de mon mécontentement à une personne de l’accueil mais aucun responsable n’est rentré en contact avec nous afin de donner des explications de manière à donner une image plus positive de cet établissement.
