Personnel adorable et accueillant. Le moment de convivialité de la fin d’apres midi avec la musique est super sympa Le petit dejeuner est tres bon L’endroit est au coeur de Lafayette, pratique d'accès en voiture et à proximité de tout ce qu’il faut faire. La chambre est bruyante : près de la rue nous entendions la circulation, sirenes etc… les murs sont fins nous entendions le ronflement et les discussions des voisins d’à coté. Il y avait une chambre au dessus de la notre et on les entendait marcher et parler. Difficile de dormir, dommage. L’isolation est également assez faible, il faisait plutot humide et froid.

Great place for local feel.
This is a welcoming and comfortable B and B with authentic feel. A bit weathered and relaxed in regard to finer details one might find in tip hotels, but more than makes up for by unique and homespun feel.

Service rooms every 2 or 3 days please
Very good but would have been nice if they offered to service our room. We stayed 5 nights while most folks only stay 1 or 2. Maybe the hosts can be aware of this and communicate to the guests? We were there over a very busy period- Mardi Gras.

Lets see what didnt i like about the property...??? Absolutely nothing! The beds were like clouds and the pillows as soft as a feather! I am in love with going back in time and enjoying the atmosphere of this home and the rooms definitely hit every key point. We will be back for sure. Oh and Saturday morning french toast was absolutely devine!

Wonderful!
We had a wind experience at this bed and breakfast! It was beautiful and clean with wonderful service. The breakfast was delicious as well as the check in experience was great. We had a late check in and early check out and had no trouble! Would definitely recommend!

The room was nice sized and comfortable The main room had a feel of older days with a large chandelier and lamps There were fresh flowers everywhere and the breakfast were tasty with interesting guests The only thing negative is the walls are thin and you can hear voices from the room next to you . But overall a. Ice non sterile chain feeling. Parking was available as well .

Our room was a loft, spacious but dark. The bathtub has no handshower and we were puzzled to have only feet towels. No shower towels were left in our room! We only stayed for one night and slept poorly because of the noise from the road and some very noisy guests arriving in the middle of the night. Breakfast was very poor. We do not recommend this place.

We attempted to stay at this property. The house itself, and the grounds, are lovely. I love history homes. Needs a bit of TLC, but not a big deal, especially for the price. The area isn’t the most ideal, but not terrible and like I said, the grounds are lovely. However when we attempted to go to bed, there were three coach roaches in one bed. We didn’t even check the others, just contacted the after hours line and left. Booked another hotel down the road. When we contacted Expedia about the stay, the owner of the Bed & Breakfast actually made up an entire story about us. That two of my group left in the night because of a raccoon and that after I ate breakfast I confronted him about the raccoon. I actually thought he must’ve gotten me mixed up with another guest. But no. He completely lied. Despite the images of roaches and my messages on the platform to him at 11pm (not to mention the call) AND my receipt for another hotel. So, the roaches are the least of the issue here. It is the management or owner that is scary.

This was a gorgeous property tucked away in Lafayette. The towels weren't very clean and the breakfast was cold. I was admittedly 10 minutes late to walk my service dog for a potty break. There was no set for us as if they weren't expecting us to have breakfast. We did say we wanted breakfast the day before, so it was just a little awkward and confusing. Other than the towels in our room and the breakfast debacle this was gorgeous. They were nice to my service dog and I would stay here again. I'll recommend it to my friends and family for sure.

Samina, Thank you for staying with us on our historic property. I do want to explain. We did know you were going to be coming to breakfast and a place was set for you, but a family made reservations and did not put on the reservation that they had 2 children. We look at the report number of people you tell us on your reservation and set our table accordingly. They must have arrived in the dining room before you and taking your seats, so 2 places had to be set. I do apologize, but we can't control other peoples bad decisions to misinform us. Again, I am so sorry!

Not a positive experience!!
Overall, horrible experience: 1st night 1. Room wasn’t prepared with a/c unit on 2. It was 102 degrees outside. We had to leave to allow the room to cool. Well that didn’t work. 3. Slept hot all night 4. Cooled off around noon 5. Tried napping 6. 2:30pm woke up to vacuuming above us NO REST!!!! Day 2: 1. Midnight, room starting having water leak/pour from the ceiling 2. Moved to a different room with No Help 3. Not a handicap room either 4. Steps to get to bathroom 5. Toilet fit for a Toddler 6. 2:30am Woken up by upstairs neighbor 7. 3:30am No rail to get down bath steps, fell on valet 8. 5:30am toilet hurt ASKED HUSBAND TO LEAVE!!! We stayed until 7:30am only because we were to tired to drive. One of the worst experiences. The manager was supposed to call me. Did that happen???? NO

Interesting historical house near downtown Lafayette. The patio area is really lovely and the room we had was quite large. A dehumidifier runs in the room and I think the room would smell a bit of mildew without it. But to be fair, it's an old building in the deep south so it is to be expected. The breakfast was really delicious and the staff was quite welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed our stay. We went downtown on the advice of the staff and were glad we utilized the recommendation. We were also treated to some Zydeco music upon arrival.
