Top hotel op tip locatie
Castell d’emporda Is een uniek verbouwd kasteel in een prachtige setting. Je hoeft hier eigenlijk niet weg, maar mocht je op pad gaan bezoek parafrugell een prachtig plaatsje met een dito mooie baai.

Heerlijk hotel
Castel Emporda is een prachtig hotel. Bijna niet voor te stellen dat het ooit een ruïne was. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam en de 2 restaurants zijn prima. Je hoeft eigenlijk de deur niet uit voor lunch en diner. De ligging is perfect tussen Girona, Barcelona en de kust. Een (huur)auto is zeker aan te raden. Het is een prima basis voor wandel- en fietstochten en stedenbezoek.

Feestje voor romantiek
Het kasteel stond al een paar jaar op m'n verlanglijstje en omdat we dit jaar 35 jaar getrouwd zijn moest het er van komen om te gaan. Het was een feestje!!! Prachtige ligging, stylvolle inrichting,champagne bij het ontbijt. Ook het avondeten was super! Jammer was het weer, daardoor was het ook vrij rustig met gasten, waardoor het personeel de gasten die er wel waren soms vergaten. Maar we gaan zeker terug!!!

A beautiful hotel in a beautiful location but a little understaffed during our stay, especially on the Friday night. Check in and reception were excellent. Some of the outside areas including balconies needed a good clean but by and large we enjoyed a lovely stay!

First of all, the view from the hotel was spectacular and the atmosphere was enjoyable. However, I did not feel like a 4 star hotel when is came to servicing our room. We had to ask several times for body wash and shampoo replacement as the one in the room was empty when we arrived and the phone never worked which made us walk all the way to the front desk which was inconvenient. The shower button wasn’t working correctly but they finally sent someone to fix it. Did not receive our bottle of champagne on the second day as promised by the front desk. At that we gave up and was just counting the hours until our departure. For the price, it wasn’t worth it. Again, the hotel and location is beautiful but It’s too bad our experience wasn’t.

Très bon séjour dans ce bel hôtel . Dommage qu’il n’y a que peu de transat pour les piscines qui se remplissent très vite . L’endroit est magnifique et le staff très sympathique

Very pretty hotel in a lovely location. All the staff were really friendly and most were helpful. Music choices in the communal areas in the evening were a little odd. We were told upon arrival that breakfast was 0830-1030am so we enquired into whether we could get a small breakfast made to go for the following day given we had to leave early. We were told this wasn't possible. Later on we asked a different member of staff to double check as this seemed odd considering most hotels offer this service. The other member of staff said that this was actually possible and that breakfast started at 0800. Additionally, we found that our room wasn't clean when we arrived. There were empty containers in cupboards from previous guests and there was lots of hair in the bathroom where the previous guests had obviously shaved. Again we were disappointed given the standard we were expecting from the hotel.

Fantastisk sted med bedste udsigt
Hotellet var virkelig god value for money, super udsigt fra de lækre værelser, lækker mad på restauranterne, god vin og gode drinks. Polområderne er også virkeligt dejligt indrettet med fin lille bar og god service. Eneste minus var at vi flere gange oplevet lidt fraværende service på restauranterne, de var ikke uhøflige eller noget, men ikke så opmærksomme. Måske de bare havde travlt, hvilket f.eks resulteret i kold mad en enkelt gang. Men samlet set et superfint sted

Great hotel in a great area. We stayed in a Castle room which was really nice but the bathroom was looking like it needed a refresh and the air conditioning couldn’t keep the room very cool. Wonderful breakfast and dining options are excellent. The food at “Drac” is superb. Pool area needed younger staff to clean up used towels and drink glasses up a lot faster but it’s a wonderful pool and lounge area. Would definitely stay again and recommend. The small things are easily rectified. General manager Silvia seems wonderful had a genuine interest in how they could improve. Diani on the restaurants is fantastic!

Hade mycket höga förväntningar då brudfamiljen letat det perfekta stället för bröllop, tyvärr var det Spanska standarden dvs kanske i vanlig ordning. Att 5 personer (personal) står bredvid baren och inte tar upp beställningar är väldigt tråkigt Service o merförsäljning borde vara en självklarhet

hotel de charme absolument charmant a découvrir
Trés bel hotel, ,jolie décoration, espace jardin et piscine bien aménagée et jolie. la chambre etait parfaite avec une belle vue, calme, bien insonorisé, ambiance zen et cosy, le repas etait succulent, le personnel au petit soin,très prévenant sympathique et souriant. Nous avons apprécié chaque instant. Trés belle découverte.

This Castle was a gorgeous place to stay. We attended a wedding here, and the views were amazing from the Garden Room. We had a nice balcony on which we could enjoy snacks or coffee, the bathroom was large and clean, and the restaurants and amenities were very nice.

Castell D'emporda has been one of the most beautiful hotels we've visited in Catalonia! It's surrounded by tons of pintoresc medieval towns and beautiful landscapes. The restaurant and all amenities are all great. I only regret not having stayed here for longer!

Una experiencia magnífica... Un hotel con muchos cuidados detalles, en una magnífica e inmejorable ubicación, con magníficas vistas, tranquilo, limpio... Quiero destacar el excelente servicio del personal del restaurante. Todo facilidades y con un alto nivel en todo momento. Sin duda es un emplazamiento para recomendar. A destacar la maqueta con soldados napoleónicos. La suite muy confortable, magníficas vistas, cuarto de baño grande y cama realmente muy cómoda.

Ideal um auszuspannen
Eine gemütlich eingerichtete Terrasse lädt zum ausspannen ein. Schöne Aussicht und tolle Pools. Hübsche Zimmer mit bequemem Bett. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Der einzige Minuspunkt war eine völlig verschmutzte Menukarte für die Eierspeisen.
