B&B in Kreta

'Our second stay here and every bit as wonderful as the first time. This boutique hotel is in an excellent location. Close to everything Chania town has to offer but in a quiet side street. The rooms are beautifully furnished in keeping with the Ottoman style. Carved wooden furniture, oil paintings and silver spoons and goblets are just some of the details. 'Very friendly staff and courtyard. Room was clean and comfortable. Would have really liked coffee available at the property and more reliable wifi. Website said “coffee in common areas”, but I never found it, if available. Kettle, fridge, dishes in the room, but no coffee — even instant. For my 1-night stay, it was fine walking to a beach café for take-out ☕️. Wifi was an issue as trying to make arrangements with a group.'

'This is a self-service hotel where you will receive the location and door code along with the key which associates to your room. The room had the basic necessities such as soap, towels and WiFi which were all I needed. The only issue I had was activating the A/C which did not work even after closing the window. Overall, I enjoyed Chania and TheJoy hotel and would come back again!'

'My son and daughter and I had an amazing stay here. The hotel might be old but it is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We were looked after brilliantly and treated like family rather than guests. We could easily walk to a range of really good bars and restaurants and there is a massive supermarket five minutes walk away. Loved it.'

'Our stay at Anotolia Charming was so amazing, the room and the service were both superb. Only a short stroll from the old port with shopping and restaurants and an amazing vibe all round. The lady at the desk was so helpful and assisted us with several local calls to retrieve some items we had left on another island - we can't thank her enough!! Definitely stay here you won't regret it!'

'We arrived there and we had to call the reception desk because the front door was locked but everything went smoothly as the person arrived there in 10 minutes. Though, we hadn't any information about breakfast or anything apart from which room was ours. The room itself is ok for the price but the bed could've been a bit comfier and the bathing area a bit bigger so one person can fit normally. The breakfast was amazing! Not only the food was really good but also the service was top level.'
