'Hidden gem! Tastefully decorated, has everything you need and more. Clean, cozy, comfortable for a small family or a couple. We wanted to spend Christmas away from home and Martin’s Cabin was a home away from home inside and outside. We even had a nice Christmas tree waiting for us upon arrival. 'Pleasent stay'

'It was nice and private of which we really enjoyed!! The view on the front porch was very nice, we had coffee there every morning and really enjoyed it!! I gave a 3 for cleanliness as there was a lot of cobwebs that could be swept down. The description was fairly accurate with the exception of the driveway was very steep making finding it in the dark a bit of a challenge. Overall we had a good visit and we would definitely rent it again! Thank you!!'

'Property should only accommodate no more than 8 people stay. Two rooms downstairs doesn’t have heating(Too cold to stay in winter). No Salt, Black pepper, Cooking oil, Coffee, Sugar, and Cream for coffee, etc.etc.'

'A nice little cabin in a nice neighborhood. It has all the necessary amenities for a quick get away in the woods. Perfect place if you are wanting to have fun in the snow during winter. The host is extremely friendly, responsive and accommodating. We are definitely going to re-consider this place for our next visit to Alta Sierra.'

'I usually travel with my best friend for my birthday weekend this year I wanted to make it a family trip to make memories with the grandbabies. This was a perfect place to do this. It is located at the top of the mountain so the view is amazing. Their is a game room that the grandbabies and all of us loved. Sunsets are amazing and the people around are so friendly. This I would say was the best trip and I'm excited to do it agian and we plan on booking this same cabin. Absolutely love this place'

'One of the most beautiful we’ve stayed in, really showcases the mighty Kern river and the glorious backdrop that is the Kern River Valley. You have everything you need, the decor is very cool with a 40’s cabin/Mid Century Modern feel and hosts are so gracious. I would highly recommend The Kern River House!'
