'Great experience in such nice small onsen hotel. We stayed in the room with outdoor private pool to enjoy the relaxing onsen any time. Our dinner and breakfast were served in a private room, and the room has provided the toys to kids so that we could enjoy the food. Staff are always helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend if you are driving and wish to escape from a busy city. '

'This was a wonderful experience. We were asked to check in between 2pm-5pm. We were glad to have made it around 3. From the entrance outside, the lobby, and the rooms it was a beautiful ryokan. 'Very cozy. This place makes you feel like home. The bedroom is nice and clean. The common room, where you can put your food in the fridge, provides free coffee/tea. 'Okada is a pretty big ryokan in Hirayu onsen area. Perfect for visiting Kamikochi in the summer. Rooms are of good size with a nice balcony/sitting area. The biggest plus of the ryokan is the beatiful onsen with multiple baths. Drawbacks were that our room didn’t have AC, only a fan, while it was very hot. The futons were pretty hard.'
