De locatie was goed. Het hele hotel was erg oud en gedateerd. Personeel was erg vriendelijk. De kamer was schoon en bed was iets te hard maar verder goed. Terras keek uit op oude daken van andere gebouwen. Ontbijt was matig. Het restaurant was niet erg schoon. Achter kachel erg vies en vloer ook. Ober liet messen op grond vallen, veegde ze af met een geel doekje en legde ze weer terug in het bakje.

Positive: Super friendly personnel and a very clean and nice place! Breakfast was great with a beautiful view of Istanbul and room service was more than satisfactory! A lot of attractions are very close to the hotel! Negative: If you have a car, very difficult to find a place to park since the hotel is located in a very busy area. But I believe it is the case everywhere in Istanbul and the hotel staff helps a lot with parking the car! Overall I strongly recommend this place and will go to the same place if I ever go back to Istanbul!

Super fijn verblijf gehad. We zaten de eerste dag op een kamer met een minder mooi uitzicht. Zonder iets aan geven hebben zij ons de volgende dag een andere kamer aangeboden en onze spullen verhuisd. The manager and all the staff were very helpful. The location was excellent—-within walking distance of anything you would want in old town Istanbul. Great complimentary breakfast on their rooftop restaurant. Dinner was very good there as well.The front office manager Engin was incredible. He knew my room number and name from our first arrival. He arranged our tour of the city. He has a photographic memory and knows all the guests their duration in the hotel and room number. Atahanwas great. We first met him in the restaurant on the roof. He was our waiter—-very efficient. Then he is working at reception. We learned later he was the bellhop but was used all over hotel where needed. Great employee

After a few days, we even got an upgrade to the luxury side of the hotel and were able to enjoy the view of the square and the sunset over Istanbul. A highly recommended stay.

Excellent location and access to tramway. Very helpful staff and breakfast has all you need to feel good for the beginning of new day plus cost is included in price of stay. I would stay there again if Old Town is your main interest.
