Prima hotel
Bij aankomst werd aan de balie prima service gegeven. Ook tijdens het verblijf kregen we nuttige informatie als we daarom vroegen. Bedden waren ietsje aan de harde kant, maar verder was het gewoon prima in orde. Ligging is centraal, waardoor de belangrijkste plekken van Istanbul beloopbaar zijn.

Perfektes Hotel in perfekter Lage! Wir würden jederzeit wieder in das Hotel gehen und es auch jedem bedenkenlos empfehlen. Sehr nettes Personal, in jeglicher Hinsicht hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend - egal was man braucht oder an Unterstützung benötigt, das Personal hilft einem weiter. Yahia an der Rezeption ist ein perfekter Rezeptionist, der uns beim Aufenthalt stets eine Hilfe war - aber natürlich auch alle anderen. Der Besitzer ist des Hotels ist täglich zum Frühstück vor Ort und erkundigt sich bei jedem einzelnen ob alles OK ist oder jemand etwas benötigt. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber, sogar die Wäsche hat stets gut gerochen und der Cleaning Service war top. Wir hatten eine Familien-Suite mit Meerblick. Aber auch das leckere Frühstück kann in der obersten Etage mit Meerblick jeden Morgen zu sich genommen werden. Das Hotel ist direkt umgeben von einigen bekannten Sehenswürdigkeiten. 5 bis max. 10 Minuten und man ist bei der Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, dem Topkapi Palast oder dem großen Basar.

We stayed here with our young kids for a few days and had a wonderful experience! The staff were very friendly and helpful. this property is located near all attractions and is within walking distance to Grand Bazar and Blue Masque and many others. I had made the mistake of choosing a standard room and wanted a room with a view and the owner made sure that we got what we wanted. They were very accommodating . Our room was perfect with the most beautiful view. Morning breakfast was also wonderful with perfect view. Will definitely return again and highly recommend this hotel.

Muyan is a small family-run hotel with very helpful staff and excellent breakfast. We stayed at the hotel for six nights. Haci, the owner, greeted us every morning at breakfast offering omelets and Turkish coffee. We were pleasantly surprised to find a demi bottle of local wine with a nice thank-you note when we returned to our room on our last night there. When we checked out to move to another hotel where we were to begin our organized tour package, Haci's sister gave us a ride to the hotel. All in all we received excellent services over and beyond what we would normally expect. Our appreciation goes to the entire staff and, in particular, to Haci, Haci's sister, Mr. Hamsa, and Brak. We will stay at Muyan again!

Probably the best place to stay in Sultanahmet
I stayed in a family suite from Dec 15 till 21, 2023. Right from day 1 till the end of the stay, the entire experience was superb. Every staff of the hotel including the owner was so helpful and ensured personal interaction daily. Every small matter was taken care of. For ex: The owner handed over his travel card to me for the local transport (TRAMs) for daily commuting and also helped to plan the itinerary. The location of this hotel is superb and just a few minute's walking distances from all the tourist attractions within this area. The breakfast spread was simply too good and the delicacies were mostly Turkish and very well presented and prepared. Turkish tea and coffee were a delight. The view of the bay from the room was breathtaking.

This is a very affordable, old style European hotel, located within walking distance to the main attractions of Istanbul's old city. It is almost invisible on its narrow street, but the interior is nicely appointed, and bathrooms modern. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, and will help you with transportation, or directions to other parts of the city using the mass transit system, which can be accessed within a few blocks. American travelers may find the style of this hotel quaint--it's not a Holiday Inn, OK?, so don't expect one--but it felt luxurious to us, especially when we went to breakfast on the 4th floor, with its terrace that overlooks the opening of the Bosporus onto the Sea of Marmara. The included breakfast is an amazing array of baked goods, cheeses and olives, and other goodies, as well as eggs and breakfast meats. Staff will offer you an omelet, or to bring you Turkish coffee instead of the standard drip brew which was ready to serve as well. If I'm ever in Istanbul again, I will certainly be checking in with this place first--but don't delay, they have only 8 rooms at any given time.

Small boutique hotel close to the main commodities less than 5mn walk (Tramway station, restaurants and supermarket). The blue mosque and Hagia Sophia within 5mn walk as well. The owner is amazing, very helpful and would do what it takes to ensure his guests are comfortable and enjoying their stay. If you like to support local and small businesses, the Muyan suite is the way to go.

We stayed 8 nights at the Muyan hotel. it is very well located for exploring the city in general, with the proximity of the Tram. It is a very clean establishment, with all the staff pleasant and smiling. Fatima prepares a very good breakfast and the waiter takes great care. Hamza will always be there to advise you, in French if necessary. We had a very good stay in Istanbul. One detail, the first night, we had reserved the "economy" room, to be avoided because it is noisy. Hamza quickly found a solution by changing rooms for us. We recommend this hotel.

Nice stay
We had a lovely time staying at the hotel. The sea-view room was spacious, cozy and quiet. It is a family run hotel and our host and the staff were really thoughtful, personable and cared to keep guests happy, this hospitality alone made our stay a wonderful experience. Breakfast had variety of traditional Turkish salads, pastries, fruits, omelettes and everything tasted fresh and homemade.
