Hotel nog in renovatie. Niet alles lijkt netjes. Het idee is goed, maar de uitwerking verdient meer aandacht.

Special place to be.
Very nice motel in an interesting corner of Utah and Arizona. With a 1 hour scenic drive to Zion National park. Special place to be, with great staff. Room is clean, great breakfast, nice lounge and outside fire place.

There were hairs and glitter in both of our beds. The tv didn’t work a bit. Asked for new sheets and mentioned the tv, whoever was working came in to fix the tv and basically fought the whole time. they upgraded our room, the tv had one button that worked, and there were still hairs in the tub and everywhere.

The room was nice but I don’t recommend paying the extra money for breakfast they don’t have near enough to feed everyone and there was no staff around to ask for help or get more. They ran out of coffee very early and there was no one to make more. I rang the buzzer at the front desk but no one ever came to see what I needed. We ran out of toilet paper and again no one around to get more for us.

I am beyond disappointed that we drove out of our way to stay there since breakfast was included. The only thing they had was 1/4 of stale hash browns, oranges and wheat bread! NO CEREAL OR EGGS OR YOGURT! When I asked the girl at the front desk for something she did not even ask and left us standing for 20 minutes and brought out one small scrambled egg omelet for 2 people. She did not even ask what we wanted. That consumption of time and irritation set us back 40 minutes of our trail day to Zion Park. I forgot to mention she took 15-20 minuted to answer the repeated bell ring at the front desk. I was not offered a credit and I would not go back!

Thank you for this review. we apologize for the invonvenience we caused you, as we were going through an employee challenge, which we were able to resolve. We have had some great reviews on our breakfast and customer service, and plan to continue improving on these matters.

Very disappointed for the price.
My stay was terrible. Carpet is dirty. Room was freezing and took several hours to heat room. Bath towels were super small. No hair dryer. No breakfast at all as promised. Hotel charged me $5 extra because I paid with a credit card.

Thank you for this review. We do have Mini split heating but due to slow season we only run them when a guest is in the room. We turn them on the day of a check in before you arriveIf possible. Hair dryer on request. Due to increased cc fees we have added this 5 to compensate

The room that we stayed in had a clogged sink, a mop was standing close to the door. There was no soap or shampoo in the bathroom.

I entered a hotel search for east gate of Zion National park and it was listed as about 16 miles away. In reality was almost 50 miles away! Never would've booked it if i knew that! Our original room was dirty, carpet old and very stained and not even vacuumed. Fridge was dirty and toilet seat had holes in it making it unsanitary. Window screens were broken so if opened windows, insects could come in... We were moved to another rm, cleaner but same issue with toilet and screens. Would never stay again.

we are 16 miles from the park, google shows the distance based on the mountains being between us and the park. you do have to drive about 40 min through Hurricane to the main entrance of the park, thank you for mentioning the screens etc.

The hotel was half an hour from Zion, so not too close, but not too far either. Hotels in Springdale were full, so this hotel was a good second option.

AC wasn’t working
Lots of space in the room and quiet hotel. The only problem we had there was that the AC wasn’t working and when I called them to turn that on, they gave me a portable fan. The whole night was super hot inside.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We felt safe. the room was amazing and comfortable.. The breakfast they served was hands down the best we ever had. It's a little out of the way in a small town but that added to the charm. If you want a great experience and something different, go an enjoy this.

One bed had bedbugs. We told staff and they moved us to another room but that room was very dirty. There was animal poop on the floor. Lots of stains and dust throughout the room. Didn't feel comfortable sleeping in the beds.

Room requires updating, light bulbs missing from bathroom lighting, very difficult to open key card open door (need batteries?), no decaf coffee, limited towels in room. The only place to eat is a pizza parlor a mile away, an hour away from Zion Park.

Great….if you like dirty rooms
Pubic hair and fecal matter on the toilet seat when we entered the room. Black hair in the sheets. Carpet on the walls was stained with mysterious fluids. Shower drain was clogged with hair. The place has a very weird vibe….

We have been travelling around AZ, UT and NV for nearly 3 weeks and the eggs at breakfast were by far the best. The hotel is remote but to be near Water Canyon and access to the north rim of the Grand Canyon it was perfect. Staff were lovely. Wi-Fi in our room [at rear of hotel) was sketchy, but perfect in the front .
