Het is een kleine eenvoudige kamer welk proper was. Jammer genoeg is op maandag het restaurant gesloten. De combinatie eten en slapen spreekt ons aan, helaas dit keer is dit niet gelukt. We zijn uitgeweken naar het stadje 10km verder ‘albert’ waar we in de brasserie op het plein een hapje gegeten hebben.

Wow Marie and her husband who’s also the chef own the restaurant and the small motel behind the restaurant. They are quite accommodating, gracious, happy to help, and Marie makes an effort to speak English. Food and wine were amazing. An in room breakfast for 5 euro each with beverage, juice, brioche French toast, breads, jams and butter. Nothing is heated and provided the night before. The brioche is sealed sous vide. Room was clean, updated shower, toilet separate from the shower room and sink. Bed comfortable.Great lighting. Easy parking. Walk to train station for connections to Ambiens. Drive is easy to the Somme battle fields and cemeteries.

Clean large rooms. No tea or coffee. No fridge. The restaurant was closed so we didn’t get to try that. The continental breakfast which cost €5 each was 2 pieces of bread and brioche, juice, coffee pods on a tray the night before

Bel accueil et bon séjour. Chambre bien pensée et agréable, literie confortable. Nous avons bien dormi et profité de la fraîcheur de la chambre malgré les températures extérieures. Environnement calme.

I stayed here with my two teens. The room was large and modern with USB ports on each side of the bed. The restaurant was beyond fantastic. We had a wonderful four course French meal. We all tried food that was new to us and it was all a hit. The village is small and quiet, but is lovely to walk around with a couple of historic signs. I would stay here again.

A restaurant with some rooms at the back - but what a restaurant it is!!! Make sure you eat here as sick wonderful food Room is nice and cosy and was great value.

Although this motel is part of a restaurant...we were told that the days we were there,the restaurant was not available for us. To get any food at all we had to travel 40km round trip for food. The town itself was lovely.

Many thanks for your review, you've only booked your room one year before coming and we'd never received any booking for the restaurant so... plus, it was a week with a day off so we got a lot of reception, wedding etc...the nearest town is Corbie 6 km, Albert 9 km Amiens 18 km certainly a communication problem with your GPS.

Quaint but distant from Australian War Memorial
The hotel is quaint but somewhat further from larger villages closer to Villers-Bretonneux, particularly if you do not have a car as there is no shuttle or taxi service. The room we stayed in and the bed were comfortable but the room walls could certainly do with a scrape, fill & repaint from the current mauve. Having a coffee machine in the room without pods cups and milk seems a bit pointless. This was quite common on our trip this time and you would have to have many different types of pods to use them as only once did we find two that were similar. However, it must be said that the village has a great history & the hosts are very welcoming & hospitable and will do all they can to make you stay pleasant. Thank you.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Room fine, nice and warm. Beds comfortable. Based on previous Hotels.com guests recommendations, we also ate dinner there. We were not disappointed. The food was superb. Have to say no other French cooking we tried on our trip could compare. Loved the vegetables, in fact everything we ate, was flavourful. We chose the 4 course menu for Eu25. Village interesting too.

It is a little way from the motorway for an overnight stay, but easy to find. It is in a small town without any amenities bit that didn't matter as we ate in the restaurant which was very good quality and good value at 25 euros for 4 courses. There are only 6 bedrooms which are motel style. Although very clean and comfortable the decor needs an update. The shower was very good once it warmed up but I prefer a shower door to a curtain, other than that no issues. You cannot fault the hosts, very friendly and attentive. Made to feel very welcome. English is spoken but they very patiently let me speak in my limited french! Overall a good stay and would recommend, well worth what is charged especially the food and drinks.

Typical french auberge, rural but convenient
The owners are really friendly and helpful. You know they run a good restaurant when lots of locals turn up for dinner but there are special rates for guests. The rooms are in a separate building round the back so there is no pressure to eat there. Behind the hotel is a beautiful park , beyond which are the water meadows of the Somme , from which the mist rises early in the morning. Really convenient for Albert, Ring of Remembrance and Amiens.
