'De Potting Shed is gezellige woning met een fijne tuin. Praktisch en functioneel ingericht. Het houtkacheltje maakt het af, echt gezellig. Het ligt in een rustig dorpje maar met 10 minuten ben je in een dorp/bos/zee. En een goede uitvalsbasis naar de New Forrest en de zee/kust. Wij hebben het erg naar ons zin gehad!'

'We had such a lovely time at Acorn cottage, it was absolutely perfect in every way. Communication with Maria throughout super easy and the cottage is stunning, probably one of the most well thought out, well stocked getaways we've stayed at. We did plenty of local walks straight from the cottage and had a few stop offs on the way home in the local pub. We also visited on a pretty wintery weekend so it made the forest and the pub that little bit more festive. We would definitely return.'

'De cottage was groter dan de foto's lieten zien. De woonkamer was eenvoudig ingericht, maar wel praktisch. De serre was snel warm en geschikt om er met open deuren te zitten, ook als het minder mooi weer was. De slaapkamers boven zijn echt ruim en netjes verzorgd. Prima bedden en mooi schoon universeel linnengoed. Heel fijn dat er boven een aparte w.c. was. En ook nog een tweede doucheruimte met wastafel en w.c. 'Goede bedden, de buitenkant doet niet vermoeden dat de cottage nog zoveel ruimte binnen heeft. Tapijt is met hondjes wel wat onhandig maar gelukkig hadden we het weer mee. gastvrij ontvangst en nog bedankt voor de welkomsborrel.'

'The cottage is ideally located, only a short 5-10 minute drive to the coast and is on its own in a private part of the retreat. The enclosed garden is perfect if you have a dog with you and would be a lovely space to enjoy in the spring / summer. The kitchen had everything you could need and the bedrooms are light and airy, although little things like making sure there is salt in the salt grinder would be appreciated. Thoughts where the cottage could benefit: adding a mirror in the bedrooms...

'Thoroughly enjoyed our 6-night stay. Cottage was modern yet charming, decorated very well throughout and with a well-equipped kitchen - the welcome carrot cake was a lovely touch! The main cottage was very warm and cosy to wake up to in the mornings, and the wood available for the sitting room burner at a reasonable charge was very much appreciated for those November evenings.
