'Spent three nights for a visit to the Dunes, drive down to see eclipse and great walks on the beach. The house was perfect for our group of six and puppy. Plusses: Short walk to gorgeous beach! 'Loved our stay,not extremely far from the city! Comfortable furniture and clean! I loved how the old time family picture was hanging up! The back yard was awesome but we couldn't enjoy it due to rain,but thats okay! At first,i was a little put back that there was not a tv in the living room but we ended up chillin,talking and laughing which is what we needed! Thanks for the short but sweet stay!'

'We had a great stay! Everything was just as listed! Every area was very clean, kitchen well stocked, plenty of towels provided for our 2 night stay. If i could change anything it would have been to add a nightlight of some sort in the twin room. Unfamiliar place/noises and it was completely dark for my daughter. No lamp or nightlight in that room. Also a few of the cabinet doors need tightened down.'

'We enjoyed our stay at this house! There was plenty of beds and the weather was perfect for us to have a bonfire! The wood provided was a little green but burnt well after we got the coals nice and hot. The beach was a quick walk away and a great place to relax and catch some sun. There was plenty of great beach stuff at the house but the umbrella was older and looked broken so we didn't take it. I would rent this house again! 'From the minute we walked inside we felt right at home! It was very clean and the layout of the house is very welcoming and open. The kitchen had all the necessities to make dinner and enjoy each other with plenty of seating. The hot tub was perfect with the waterfall and lights. It was a short walk to the beach where we enjoyed the day in the sun! We will definitely rent this location again if our travels bring us back up to northern Indiana! This was a mother / daughter weekend to remember.'

'This property was perfect for our Cousins Reunion in nearby Palos Park. The large kitchen was a gathering place, and roomy enough for many walks down memory lane over coffee and snacks. The great weather allowed us to enjoy the backyard patio one evening, although it needs a little spiffing up. The location was close to restaurants but pretty quiet inside. The house was clean and comfortable with ample off street parking. I highly recommend it!'

Between playing pool, street fighter and a few crashing early while watching tv in the theater chairs, everyone was taken care of. We had such a blast and Ashley was a phenomenal host. So accommodating and really fast responses. We are already talking about booking again once it gets warmer!'

'We traveled for a long weekend to attend our son’s state swim meet. It was 20 minutes from this house, but well worth the drive for our family. Nothing fancy, but we slept 8 people (4 adults, and 4 kids ages 6-), and we were able to bring our dogs, as well. It was great to have the safe fenced in backyard for the dogs and a pet friendly property. Joe was a very accommodating host, and was always available if we had a question (the WiFi had to be reset a few times). We would definitely recommend...

'Thank you for letting us stay in your home. It was perfect for what we needed, and was within 30 minutes of everywhere we wanted to go. We loved the hot tub and fenced in back yard. We didn't plan for it this time, but next time plan to use the grill area! My only advice for the future is to add some type of mat in the tub as it is super slippery, and a couple of us slipped and fell.
