Zeezicht betekent dat je langs de weg een kamer hebt. Een weg met zeer druk verkeer. Erg lawaaiig. We hebben de volgende dag een kamer op de 4e etage gehad ipv de 1e dat scheelde wel iets. Echter, in de kamer lekte de toilet, was er schimmel op het plafond en was de thermostaat niet goed aangesloten. Deze gaf vonken. Alles is wel direct opgepakt, ik sliep al toen de monteur een uur bezig was met het oplossen van de kortsluiting. Nadat ze de toilet hebben gerepareerd, is ons deur open gelaten. Toen we terug in het hotel waren troffen we de deur open. De volgende dag de manager gesproken die vond dat het allemaal normaal was en gaf met moeite een excuses voor het open laten van de deur. De rest was volgens haar normaal. Uiteindelijk heeft ze op kosten van het hotel een transfer geregeld naar de airport.

Wij hadden een familiekamer geboekt (ouders dochter 17 jaar). Bij aankomst om 3.00 am stond er in de kamer een babybed. Mijn man moest in een andere kamer gaan slapen want ze konden geen bed regelen. Onze kamer lag vol met stof op de grond en de airco werkte niet.De volgende dag, hebben ze dan een bed in onze kamer gezet waarvan de poten scheef stonden, het bed was vol met roest en het maakte heel veel lawaai als je er nog maar op ging zitten. De volgende morgen, na een gesprek met de manager, kregen we een een familiekamer. Airco werkte niet en douchecabine lekte op verschillende plaatsen. Onvriendelijke mensen aan de receptie. Ontbijt was ok. Teleurstellend verblijf. Positief : goede ligging van het hotel

Chambre bien et spacieuse, mais trop sombre. La salle de bain est très jolie mais la douche est une catastrophe, l'eau coule partout dans la salle de bain, on a été obligée de mettre des serviettes un peu partout pour éponger. Petit déjeuner ça va mais le jus à revoir car vraiment pas bon. Pour ce qui est du personnel, on a limite l'impression de le déranger, pas du tout accueillant (surtout celui de l'accueil, le comble, ça donne tout de suite une mauvaise image de l'hôtel), ça donne pas du tout envie de revenir.

Customer service was wonderful. Staff on site at all times. Very friendly and willing to help. Great location between Gzira and Sliema... so many restaurants right outside the door. 10 min walk to Valletta ferry. Breakfast was outstanding - such a great variety. Others must enjoy the hotel because it was busy! Great job, ST Bayview!

My room was clean and comfortable especially the bed. However my friend's room was cold and she could not get wi-fi despite mentioing these to reception on 3 occasions. Overall the hotel has good facilities but is a bit tired. The breakfast was really well presented with lots of choice and very enjoyable.

The hotel itself needs big improvements, our room had mold on the bathroom ceiling, the window was broken and we had to call someone to fix it so we could close it overnight. The cleaning was not the best, a lot of hairs left on the floor, cleaning staff are not coming all the times to clean, they didn’t come to our room for 2 days in a row even if we called the reception. The swimming pool at the 7th floor was not heated on a Sunday Morning, the sauna door is broken and doesn’t close properly.. The staff were great and helpful every single time, that is a bonus of this hotel. With one exception, the italian lady selling the Malta tours at the front desk. Please pay attention and ask what you’re getting for the price! She sold us €95 tickets to get to Gozo and Comino. But she never mentioned that the transport within the island is not included!! We got there and remained on the bay area for 2 hours. Location of the hotel is great, with easy access everywhere, Bolt is very cheap to travel around. I recommend going to Julian’s Bay and The point shopping centre, great area. The view from the hotel’s rooftop is great!

Nice, as always!
We have been coming back to this place several times since 2009 with a big group of family and running friends. We like most things very much and are always satisfied when we leave. We discussed the AC with reception because it didn´t do the room cooler. Answer was that it don´t cool, because people only like it to heat up. We stayed in late February and like it cool. Can´t imagine how hot the room must be during the summer period. The pool and sauna area are a bit dated but worked fine for our group after running marathon and half marathon. The terrace is a nice place to stay for some hours after check-out. Resting there before heading to the airport. We will for sure be back again!

Kurzbesuch in Malta. Das Hotel ist in der Ausgehmeile von Gzira. in der Nachbarschaft sind viele Bars und Restaurants. Gut gelegen um zu Fuss die Gegend zu erkunden. Great location. Staff were all lovely and always helpful. Bar shut at 10pm which seemed very early. Rooms are good, daily clean. Breakfast is great with plenty of options though can get busy! Local area is easy to walk around and bus is right outside the main entrance.

Cheap and cheerful!
We had a great stay the hotel is in a great location right on the sea front. Ideal for a budget weekend trip away, the room was fairly spacious and had a fairly comfortable bed and the staff were all very friendly. Only things that let it down were; lifts were small and slow, some black mould/damp in bedroom and bathroom and a broken tile but didn’t effect the use at all! The spa was very busy and main pool was cold but was supposed to be heated. Overall a good stay!

Bayview Hotel is a very beautiful, modern hotel located 10 minutes walking from Sliema and just 15 minutes to Valletta by bus or ferry. There are two direct buses to the airport. The receptionists were friendly and helpful and spoke perfect English. There was a huge British-style breakfast every morning. I booked a standard room which was very clean and tidied up daily. Most of the room was taken up by a huge, comfortable bed. There was a TV with German channels, a small balcony facing a courtyard, and a bathroom with shower. The top floor of the hotel has a small pool and wellness area, with indoor and outdoor pools (unfortunately not heated while I was there - December 2023), a "jacuzzi" (small lukewarm pool with one jet), massage and fitness areas, and a sauna (which you had to book 1 hour in advance). The rooftop lounge was perfect for sunbathing by the pool even though it was too cold (for me!) to swim. Unfortunately the whole fitness/wellness area was only open from 10-18h so there was no possibility of a workout before breakfast or a sauna in the evening. I spent most of my days sightseeing so didn't use the wellness options as much as I would have liked. The neighborhood is lively but not touristy. There are dozens of restaurants, bars, and hotel bars within easy walking distance, ranging from casual to upscale to fast food to healthy eating. My favorite one was The Balance Bowl vegan restaurant, just 5 minutes walking from the hotel.

Das Hotel liegt gut um Ausflüge mit Boot, Bus oder Auto zu starten. Aber auch zu Fuß kann man viel erreichen. Im Dezember gab es rund herum auch ausreichend Parkplätze, im Sommer würde ich damit aber nicht rechnen... Die große Straße ist bei offenem Fenster recht laut, aber mit geschlossener Tür hat es uns nicht gestört. Besonders das Personal möchten wir hervorheben, jederzeit freundlich und hilfsbereit!

Great location..great staff...
Excellent location...staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast buffet had good choice and tables were cleaned and cleared as you finished eating. Comfortable bar area with large TVs showing mainly live sport. Bus stop to go to Valetta across the road and to head north towards st Julian's outside hotel. Ferry service to Valetta near by and a cheap and scenic way to enter Valetta. Room was clean and spacious and well worth paying a little more for sea view.Great views from roof top pool with sunloungers. I would definitely book this hotel again.

Shower was extremely tiny, lukewarm water for showers. Actually had no water for awhile one day, telephone didn't work to reach reception. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good.

Correct
L'accueil à l'hôtel est bon, la chambre correspond à la description et est confortable. Effectivement on entend le bruit de la rue mais comme nous voulions être à proximité des restaurants commerce et mer c'est un peu normal mais en fermant la fenêtre le bruit est très atténué. Nous sommes restés 8 jours et sommes juste un peu déçu que le petit-déjeuner ne soit pas varié, les mêmes choses tous les jours c'est un peu lassant et ce que nous regrettons c'est qu'il n'y avait pas de spécialités maltaises tel que les pizzatis. En ce qui concerne le spa je ne recommande pas aux personnes de réserver pour ce service. Ce n'est ouvert que de 10h à 18h le sauna n'est pas praticable il était cassé au niveau de la porte et du banc quant au bain à remous au niveau hygiène ce n'est pas top.

Non male,ma non ci ritornerei in questo albergo,in 4 giorni non hanno mai pulito il bagno,e non cè nessuno che parla italiano alla recepcion. Letto comodo e colazione buona e abbondante. Avevo una camara con vista cortile ma non ho mai potuto aprire il terrazzo xk cera puzzo di mangiare ed ero ad un quinto piano.
