Very nice property. Location is a little out of the way, so definitely rent a car OR see about renting the car they have on the property. We went March 25-31 and most of the restaurants and stuff around the resort were closed. Food at resort is good, but some restaurants 30 mins. away are amazing. Tons of cats around the property so don't go it allergic. Would go back.

Hotel ist super. Nettes Personal, hervorragendes Essen und saubere Einrichtung. Nur zwei Kleinigkeiten die nicht so gut waren. 1. Die Massagen im Spa waren für den Preis nicht sonderlich gut. 2. In der Anlage liefen viele Katzen rum. Für jemanden wie mich, der eine Katzenhaarallergie hat, nicht sonderlich angenehm. Außerdem schien eine der Katzen im Essbereich krank zu sein und dementsprechend gab es einige unschöne Hinerlassenschaften von ihr.

We stayed for 2 weeks & we had a fantastic time. The Hotel is very clean. The staff were excellent - very attentive & professional. The restaurants were all lovely, with the main restaurant having a wonderful daily choice & again very helpful staff. I would recommend this Hotel!

This hotel was NOT 5 stars, more like 3.5. Worn carpets, tiny rooms, stained carpets etc, the hotel is in desperate need of renovation. The food was also terrible. No variety or taste. For the price being paid, I expected a lot more. The staff was lovely and really helpfully. The hotel itself was pretty, but it needs a serious makeover and new chefs.

Positives: Beautiful grounds and gardens, very clean, specious rooms, great food, nice speciality restaurants, friendly stuff, nothing was too much trouble Negatives: - letting people reserving their sun beds with towels early in the morning so others can’t find any free. Some people wouldn’t turn in for hours! This shouldn’t be allowed… - no electric sockets by bed - beach a bit stoney, not even, not good for kids - outside the hotel is pretty shabby - nearest town Hersonissos quite tacky - excursions sold by the hotel overpriced for what it was

This hotel has a beautiful complex in which it is embedded. I lived in the hotel in a suite with its own pool. Unfortunately, the weather was too cool at this time to be able to use other things. It is a shame that the advertisements do not mention that there are no pools But there is an indoor pool that is also a bit cool, the food was unfortunately not varied, but reasonably well appropriate for this price-performance ratio. We are pleased to be able to give a very good rating for this hotel and above all wish the super service team, who was extremely friendly, all the best and thank you. Dieses Hotel hat eine schöne Anlage ,in die es eingebettet ist. Wir habe im Hotel,in einer Suite/Villa mit eigenem Pool gewohnt. Leider war das Wetter zu dieser Zeit zu kühl, um andere Dinge nutzen zu können. Schade, dass in der Werbung nicht erwähnt wird, dass es keine Pools gibt,die beheitzt sind, aber es gibt ein Hallenbad, das auch etwas kühl ist, das Essen war leider nicht abwechslungsreich, aber für diesem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis einigermaßen angemessen. Wir freuen uns, diesem Hotel eine sehr gute Bewertung geben zu können und wünschen vor allem dem super freundlichen Serviceteam !!! Alles Gute und vielen Dank.

The hotel is built like a lovely village , cery nice! The staff was very friendly: at the reception, the drivers, the roommaids, especially the service at dinner - Maria- was warmheated and great to the kids 😀 unfortunately the pools were not heated. In october the nights are already fresh, so that there was no swimming possible for the kids in the pools due to the cold water. They could have even warm up one pool outside, that would have been nice. Surroundings were goid, lits of hotel complexes around, but nice and tidy. Altogether good stay @Royal Mare

We had questions at the front desk about snorkelling and car rental and shopping and she said we need to go into Heraklion. That was incorrect because All three were near by and within walking distAnce. We were speaking English and not sure she understood English very well.

Obwohl es sich um eine riesige Hotel Anlage handelt, gelingt es dem Personal, eine familiäre Atmosphäre zu schaffen . Maria & Dimitri vom Restaurant sowie Aphrodite und Maurice von der Strandbar vermitteln uns täglich den Eindruck, besonders wertvolle Stammkunden zu sein. Unser Zimmer war ein bißchen in die Jahre gekommen, aber blitzsauber, so wie der Rest der liebevoll bepflanzen Anlage. Das Essen war phantastisch und wir finden keinerlei Kritikpunkte.

Das Zimmer war sehr schön, mit dem direktem Zugang zum Pool. Das Hotel war aber extrem laut, zum einen durch den Flugverkehr und zum anderen durch diverse Partys. Im Hotel gab es verschiedene Angebotte von AI, HP und nur Frühstück. Für Leute die HP und Frühstück gebucht hatten waren die Getränke extrem teuer. Beispiel eine Flasche Wasser 6€, eine kleine Flasche Wein 15€. In den Restaurants ringsrum lagen die Preise jeweils bei ungefähr der Hälfte. Das Esssen war aber sehr gut. Beim Service waren die Mannschaften zum Teil vüllig überfordert.

Das Hotel ist maximal gute 3 Sterne wert. Wir haben bei der Bestätigung der Reise 14.00 als check-in Zeit erhalten. Um 14.30 wurden wir von der unfreundlichen bedienung am Schalter gebeten auf den sofas zu warten:" wir werden sobald das zimmer frei ist sie holen kommen, bitte warten Sie 10-15 Minuten auf dem Sofa." Nach 30Minuten hatten wir es satt zu warten und giengen erneut zur Rezeption. Das Zimmer war nun endlich bereit. Koffer aufs zimmer begleiten oder ein angestellter der uns den weg weist gab es nicht. Das zimmer war komplett für eine Person mit Handicap ausgerichtet. War optisch leider nicht so ansprechend wie auf den Bildern. Das Bad war ungenügend. Am Wasschbecken konnte man nur stehen, wenn die türe geschlossen war, weil sie genau vors Lavabo geöffnet wurde. Die dusche war nicht dicht. Nach jedem mal duschen war das Bad unterwasser. Ansonsten waren im Zimmer noch deko einheiten, welche aus der wand hervorkamen, wären eigentlich schön gewesen, jedoch war eins davon abgebrochen. An der Bar gab es nur Becher aus Pappe... 1. nicht sehr angenehm zum sein Cocktail daraus zutrinken und nicht wirklich Umweltfreundlich. Beim Buffet waren 1/3 der gerichte nicht angeschrieben, somit wusste man oft nicht was einen erwartet. Auf dem Hotelgelände gab es viele kleine details die man reparieren müsste. Der Pool, der auf allen Fotos gezeigt wird, ist wie fast jeder Pool auf dem Gelände, ein Privater Pool, welcher nur von den Gästen, mit umliegenden Zimmer benutz werden darf.

Positiv: Es ist schön, dass die Hotel Managerin bei Problemen sich persönlich darum kümmert und lösungsorientiert ist. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Negativ: Die Dusche ist nicht ganz dicht und es läuft Wasser aus. Auf den Bildern sieht die Einrichtung auch etwas anders aus. Vor Ort merkt man, dass der Stil und die Möbelstücke ihre besten Jahre hinter sich haben. Am letzten Abend hatte meine Freundin einen Unfall. Leider zu unserem erstaunen hatte das Hotel keinen Sanitätskoffer oder Sanitäter. Nicht einmal Kalt Kompressen oder Schmerzmittel. Der Notarzt kam nach langem warten auch nicht. Bei solch einem großen Hotel mit sehr vielen älteren Menschen finde ich es fahrlässig keinen Plan für Notfälle/Unfälle zu haben. Wir hatten noch Glück, das nichts schlimmeres passiert ist nach dem Sturz.

très bon hôtel, tout était parfait, personnel agréable et serviable a tout moment de la journée et de la nuit petit bémol sur le petit déjeuner ou l'ont vient vous servir le café a table le matin, il faudrait pouvoir laisser l'accès en self service. Le café le matin c'est important de l'avoir de suite :D nous avions également difficulté a trouver un transat le matin près des piscines car les gens se permettent de réserver dès le matin 9H les transat en y laissant leur serviette.

Exemplary.
One the best resorts anywhere. The resort is on gradual slope and layout is such that you get sea views everywhere. The sea and beach are safe for swimming. Good facilities and a good spa area. Food in the main restaurant was good. About staff everywhere they are excellent. They offered good white wine complimentary in the room. Very very good resort with reasonable tariff.
