'We stayed 4 nights at Alkion, the staff is extremely nice and give you the feeling of being at home. Father, mother and 2 sons are running this place and provide you with all the information you need about Georgioupoli (Jojupoli) and Crete Island. The breakfast is very good. 'Perfectly located above a supermarket in Georgioupoli square. 5 well appointed appartments which appear to be fairly new. Room 2 ( ours) and room 3 have near perfect views of the square with its 2 fountains and all the activity at night with the surrounding bars/ restaurants etc. With the balcony door shut we could hear nothing outside so good soundproofing. 'Such a warm welcome from the owner when we arrived at the Irini Studios. We had a nice large studio with balcony and a terrace with lovely countryside and mountain views. The kitchenette was very well equipped with many useful items for our 6 day stay. A super bathroom with possibly the best shower in Crete. We would happily stay at the Irini studios again. '

'Not being familiar with the villages in Greece, we booked this place. I bet it is awesome in the summer. It is a very modern property in an older village with stunning views. Downsides: It's not a hotel...so I kept getting called by the manager when we are checking in. When we got to the town, we had to call to meet him so he could take us to the property.
