Dit hotel is zwaar verouderd. De gordijnen waren kapot, vlekken in de vloerbedekking. Overal maar vooral in het restaurant was veel hout, heel veel hout wat natuurlijk moeilijk stofvrij te houden is. De kaart van het loszittende deurslot weigerde keer op keer. Het personeel daarentegen was super vriendelijk.

Genève kon beter voor die prijs.
Kamer aan het plein, had gevraagd om rustige kamer. Raam kon alleen open en niet op kiep-stand. Raam dicht lastig, want airco werkte niet. Douchegarnituur was stuk. Het was niet slecht maar het was zeer lawaaiig. Ook het ontbijt was absoluut "mager" jammer, want het potentieel is er.

“Alpenhotel” in Geneve
Zwitsers “alpenhotel” in Geneve. Leuk restaurant, goed ontbijt, aardig personeel, vlakbij station. Op het moment wordt er aan de achterkant van het hotel een pand gerenoveerd. Dit geeft geluidsoverlast op de doordeweekse dagen.

Makkelijk te bereiken vanaf luchthaven met trein en lopen of bus. Makkelijk om alle kanten van Genève te bezoeken incl Cern.

Heel gezellig alpen-achtig hotel
Hotel heeft voor ons alles gedaan om te kunnen genieten van de lokale atmosfeer. Ze hebben speciaal plek gemaakt in het al vol geboekte restaurant met live muziek.

We had a very pleasnat stay in this hotel, staff were friendly, rooms clean, there was coffee and tea, everything we needed. I can definitely recommand it!

The upgrade to the larger suite was lovely, plus birthday surprises as well. The dinner in the restuarant was superb, and everyone should do the fonsue cooking lesson, so much fun and cheese.

Accueil très sympathique. Chambre petite mais confortable et bien équipée. Décoration montagnarde chaleureuse. Dans la chambre, on quitte la ville pour se retrouver dans une ambiance typique des sommets. Hôtel proche du lac à pieds. Pas de parking sur place.

This property has really nice decor, cozy ambiance and staff were very helpful. Room and bathroom were very clean. Bed was comfortable. Bathrooms are modern but small. If you are tall, the shower in our room would not have worked for you. This varies by room as our second room, the shower height was fine. Restaurant food and service was very good. Location was convenient to the lake but it was loud outside at night as there is a pub open until 5am near by. We heard people screaming outside on the street at 3am. Also, you can smell the cheese fondue throughout the reception - if you are sensitive to smells or not a fan of the smell of cheese, this will bother you. The elevator is also very small but this is common in Switzerland. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Swiss gem near the lakeside
A really lovely cosy hotel a skip from the lake. Fantastic restaraunt with live music to accompany the meal. A one man umpa band including a giant horn extraveganza. Nice breakfast too.

Negatief: Netheid, personeel en service, voorzieningen en staat van de accommodatie en faciliteiten
Aunque el hotel estaba parcialmente vacío nunca nos hicieron el upgrade de habitación. Tampoco nos dieron la botella de vino. Y lo peor de todo es que no hicieron la limpieza. Cuando regresamos de pasear, el cuarto estaba como lo dejamos antes de salir. Si entraron a la habitación pues dejaron unos chocolates, pero no tendieron las camas, ni limpiaron el baño. Muy mal. No regresaría nunca más. No lo recomiendo.

A very clean, bright and spacious room with easy access to everything. Lot of storage space and nice decor. Staff is friendly. A very good breakfast in the property restaurant, which is also great for dining in the evening with some entertainment. Would return again. Thanks!
