'The apartment is wonderfully located and correctly furnished. The view is incredible and worth the stay. Next to nice seaside resorts (Punta Gorda, Lido) and great walks, not far from the bus and supermarkets. The host is very nice and available, the communication was perfect, he even came to look for me at the airport for a reasonable price.'

'C’est deux semaines chez Fernando et Patricia ont été splendide ! Une vue magnifique sur funchal, des hôtes fantastiques et que dire de la maison avec son bar et salle de billard qui nous ont fait passé de très bonnes soirées. 'Great property. Only two of us on this trip, the house has 4 bedrooms and sleeps up to 8. But we like our space. Property is impressive. With lots of polished wooden floors and staircase. View is fantastic looking down onto Funchal and the ocean beyond. Access into the gates with a car is tight especially when driving out. Also some roads are steep and narrow. So I’d recommend a smallish hire car. We hadn’t! Managed ok by doing a 7 point turn to reverse in. Then was easy exiting next day. All...

'We loved our stay at Pedro's and wouldn't hesitate to go back. Pedro was a very friendly, helpful host. The apartment was very clean, with everything needed for a holiday stay. The roof terrace was ideal for lazy days and evening drinks. It is an easy walk into the centre of Funchal and the walk back is not a problem, but would recommend a taxi (4-5 euro) if retuning from supermarket. Thank you Pedro 😁'

'Bij aankomst werd nog volop schoongemaakt (terwijl we hadden doorgegeven dat we tussen 12-13 zouden arriveren). Maar bagage weggezet & auto geparkeerd en gaan lunchen biij museum om de hoek (prima eten voor zeer redelijke prijs). Daarna boodschappen bij supermarkt (10-15 min lopen). Lekkere restaurants op 10 min lopen (wel berg af/op, dis moet redelijk ter been zijn). Lamp in slaapkamer ging kapot, maar na melding werd er keurig nieuwe lamp bezorgt.'

'We logeerden op loopafstand van de Sé, mooi verblijf met zonnig terras. Alles was aanwezig, goede bed, uitgeruste keuken, garage. Minpuntjes: reservoir stuk, wc-bril los, bidet loopt uit, klink badkamer stuk, diepvries sloot net al te best. Maar alles bij elkaar fijn appartement!'

'Zeer gunstig gelegen huis. Prachtig uitzicht. Nadeel: als je geen auto hebt of scooter huurt, moet je echt flinke stukken steil omhoog lopen. Of met de taxi, maar vind deze niet goedkoop. Funchal is echt prachtig, zeker de moeite waard.'

'Beautiful house with fabulous pool. We did not hire a car for our stay. Taxis were fairly cheap -€6 to centre of Funchal. Very clean and spacious. Would definitely recommend.'

'O local que nos hospedamos é bastante agradável. Tranquilo e bem localizado para explorar a ilha. Local limpo e com boa estrutura. À comunicação com o Luis foi muito fácil e eficaz. A vista da área da piscina é realmente fantástica, infelizmente pensávamos que teríamos esta vista do local que alugamos, inclusive com uma varanda. Este ponto poderia ficar um pouco mais claro na descrição. De resto foi tudo muito bom.'
