'Had an amazing stay here. Highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed! Super clean, well equipped and very spacious. Host was very attentive and responsive to queries. The only thing I’d say (which isn’t even a negative) but didn’t impact negatively on our stay would be having it more secure to allow dogs to go out slide door within living room area to the back without worrying they’d wander off. Will definitely return. We had an amazing Christmas here and made wonderful memories.'

'Het huis is een perfecte uitvalsbasis om Ilse of Skye te verkennen. Op amper 25 minuten rijden van Kyle of Lochalsh waar je de brug naar Skye overrijdt. Het prachtige Eilean Donna kasteel ligt op 20 minuutjes rijden. Je kan ook mooie wandelingen in de buurt maken en inkopen doen kan bij de Spar op 20 minuten rijden of de co-op op 25 minuten rijden. Een lokale “kruidenier” vind je op wandelafstand evenals het heel aangename “ pitstop@kintail”. Het huis is heel goed uitgerust met 5 ruime...

'The cottage was clean, cozy, and much larger than I expected! It was in a fairly out of the way location (but not far at all from Oban) that was great for avoiding city traffic. Our host Maureen was very nice and friendly and If/when we travel back to Scotland, and plan on visiting Oban, we would happily stay here again.'

'Met all expectations. Unbeatable view. Great, enclosed area for dogs. Good quality (and number of) bathrooms. 3 in all. Hot tub was a bonus. Initially dubious all 6 of us (adults) would fit in comfortably - but we did! Wonderful find.'

'A lovely property backing on to the main road to Oban. Had everything we needed for a great extended family weekend. All enjoyed the fabulous hot tub and we made good use of the BBQ and fire pit table in the evenings. A couple of snags and Gillian got on to them straight away, thank you!'

'Stayed for a week in this cottage with fabulous views. Very clean and just about everything you need. We were only missing a corkscrew and egg cups, but anything else you need is there. Not quite as homely as we would have hoped as the cottage is quite sparse, but still had a wonderful time. Great to be able to access the canal and take a nice long walk to Neptune’s staircase from the cottage!'

'This is an excellent house in a beautiful area. We had 15 guests ranging from 4 to 79 - the accommodation was perfect for all of our needs…it was warm, clean and comfortable. The hot tub was a particular highlight. Gillian was approachable and helpful if needed. We would not hesitate to recommend this property and the area.'

'We spent one week in Strathlorn and started our first day in glorious sunshine. We made the most of it and did a long walk on the isle with a stop at the heritage centre: lots of history and homemade onion soup! Also we made good use of the ferry to Port Appin, the shop is closer than the one on Lismore and it's a good excuse to have tea and scones at the Pier House. There are nice strolls just from the doorstep, one gets you very near Castle Stalker (very romantic, especially in the rain). We...

'From the moment we arrived, we were treated with the utmost care. The estate is breath-takingly beautiful, with incomparable vistas. The traditional Scottish fare is abundant and appealing, with seamless accomodations for diets. The large gathering spaces were perfect for our group of fourteen; and the charming bedrooms were welcome getaways. Room to sprawl, and to come together.'

'Het appartement bevindt zich op een prachtige locatie aan het meer (met uitzicht over het meer). Qua omgeving geef ik het een goede 8 score. Het appartement zelf was minder. Het appartement van binnen is heel oud en versleten en toe aan vervanging. De slaapbank was oud en het matras van keihard (zonder vering). De afzuigkap hing half los. Ook de badkamer moet vervangen worden. '
