The hotel looked very refurbished, but the room was the most noisiest room (127) we’ve ever stayed in. Every toilet or shower from the floor above sounded like a waterfall in the room and with the windows closed you could still hear every word that was being said outside. We asked for one coffee creamer for the tuin as it was not restocked, but the reacted not cooperative at all….

Location is evrything, the Baglioni’s got it!
Excellent location, very friendly and professional staff that made me feel welcome. Got an upgrade with complementary mini-bar, how nice is that! Too bad I only stayed for 2 nights, but I will definetely come back.

A traditional Italian hotel. Lots of dark wood. Staff very friendly. Breakfast view of the Duomo is stunning. Fair buffet breakfast. Roof top terrace bar. Not quite enough staff. Brilliant shower, always loads of hot water. WiFi is virtually non existent. They know this and nothing is done. Weirdly our European adapter that we’ve used all over Europe wouldn’t fit, we bought another one. Great location. You are near everywhere. We arrived by train from Pisa and it’s an easy underground walk to the hotel. I’d probably stay there again.

Room was ok, as expected but very disappointed with the attitude of the staff at the bar, almost refused a drink in the afternoon as the barman was busy serving locals. not what i expect when paying over £400 a night to stay there. Was not just us as we witnessed others being treated the same.

On the hotel details said it was sound proof, not true u can hear everything next door, the bed is extremely hard . Also we were very disappointed that on the picture it showed it has a sauna which is also not true . The staff at check in were very unfriendly ( please consider that ) it makes huge impact on the stay . Other than that it’s beautiful and very convenient, close to all shops . Historical hotel

Right next to the train station, Hotel Baglioni was convenient however the older hotel surprised us with our own balcony and patio. This is an older hotel with beautifully decorated rooms and furniture to match. The rooftop was beautiful with morning breakfast that had a variety of options even for the picky eaters. Then the meal I had for dinner from the restaurant was one of the best I had in Florence. This is a true gem.

If you’re looking for a property that has a lot of history, then this is your place. However, the staff was not helpful at all. We stayed in March and needed to use the air conditioning however, it did not work. We asked three different people at the front desk and they said that they fixed it which they did not. Our room faced the street so you could not open the window and let fresh air in to cool the room down because it was so incredibly noisy. When I try to explain the situation upon check out to the final front desk clerk, he argued with me. Go for the location. Very close to the Duomo and lots of restaurants. Don’t expect great service from the front desk staff. Any of them
