'The hotel is situated in Habarana which is near to all the cultural locations. The lodges are rather dark and midscale, not what you expect from a 4+ star rated hotel. The staf is friendly but not that fast in the restaurant. Not too many alternatives nearby. '

'You are surrounded by nature, birds, animals, everywhere you look. The staff is very friendly, funny, and the service is excellent. The property is lush and gorgeous. Its a magical place! But, the facilities are close to 10 years old, and being that close to nature has its «downsides», if you are not REALLY into it. Even so, we loved our time there. Tip: order the local dishes on the menu;)'

'Location - I am a regular guest at this property. It’s a bit of a heaven , utterly relaxing, surrounded by nature. The quality of my sleep always improves when staying at the property. The hosts, Supipi and Uthpala are super hosts. The meals are mostly made by Supipi herself and of course delicious. This time stayed for 6 days, could have easily stayed longer. Will definitely return.'

'Great location for visiting sigiriya, but despite coming up as "Dambulla" on the map, it's about a 20 minute drive from there. Busses to Dambulla run from the end of the road and are quite regular. The rooms are basic but nice enough. Our room was not dirty but not spotlessly clean either. It had a private patio which was perfect for relaxing. The on site food is delicious - the best we've had in Sri Lanka. Breakfast was generous and was served outside in the garden. They can provide...

'Sehr schöne Bungalows in einer ruhigen kleinen Anlage mit Pool. Das Frühstück war etwas abwechslungsreicher als in den anderen Hotels in Sri Lanka, daher sehr gut. Abendessen war sehr lecker und zu einem fairen Preis. Sehr gute Lage zu den örtlichen Ausflugspunkten und sehr nettes Personal. Die Anfahrt ist etwas abenteuerlich, da man auf einer unbefestigten Straße durch das Dorf fährt. Sind aber ohne Probleme mit dem eigenen Wagen, auch bei Dunkelheit gut zurecht gekommen. "Bij aankomst geen handdoeken aanwezig, twee oude gekregen na vragen. Op het hotel terrein wordt afval inclusief plastic verbranden ook een stapel waardoor Zwarte rook over het terrein trekt. De receptie is erg traag, administratie niet op orde waardoor betalingen niet duidelijk waren. Ook moesten we half uur wachten bij uitchecken voordat iemand op een scoot kon komen. Ontbijt was karig, geen keuze. Wat witbrood, gebakken eieren, beetje fruit en oploskoffie. "

"Apparently they just opened after being closed for 3 years. They gave us at first a dirty stinky room after a big scene and complaint we finally got the room we booked. Staff barely speaks English. Food choice is very limited, buffet for SriLankan standard is very poor. They tried to force us a Xmas dinner at 40 dollar a person but quality of kitchen is poor, also for the breakfast, no yoghurts. The road towards the place is a disaster and very difficult to reach. Overall poor experience for a so called luxury hotel. "
