'We can wholeheartedly recommend this house. It has a beautiful location and it is beautiful and very spacious. It is a little higher (last stretch of steep road) and a (rental) car is necessary to explore the region. There are beautiful villages to explore at a reasonable distance, this requires some travel time. But is very worthwhile! Everything is well organized, the booking, information provision, interim contact and everything is equally friendly! On arrival we found the next morning...

'We were the first guests to stay at this beautiful home. It is out in the country, and has wonderful views of the countryside and old Rende. Our host, Rossana, met us at the house and showed us everything we needed to know. She speaks fluent Italian (which we do not) and English (which we do). 'Calabria is a province of hilltop villages and just outside San Vincenzo La Costa is this peaceful mountain refuge. The driveway is daunting at first but passable in any car and easy once you have done it. Host Claudia stocked the place with jam, bread and coffee and did everything to make me feel at home. There is great hiking from the house and even better a short drive away, and it easy to access all the wonders of Calabria in an hours drive in any direction. I cannot wait to come back.'

'We had a very nice family vacation here. The house and especially the garden are so lovely. Supermarkets, restaurants etc. are only couple minutes away by car. We stayed here off season and had a super relaxing holiday. The owner is very nice and will help you with everything you need.'

'Die Wohnung befindet sich in einem kleinen Ort mitten im historischem Zentrum. Sie ist nur über diverse Treppen mit ungleichen Stufen zu erreichen. Die Wohnung gehört zu einem Hotelprojekt, so dass man -wenn man möchte- auch auf dem "Dorfplatz" bzw. dort in einem Restaurant frühstücken und zu Abend essen (es gibt ein täglich wechselndes Menu) kann. Im Übrigen gibt es nur ein weiteres Restaurant, dass fußläufig zu erreichen ist, jedoch jetzt im Oktober 2021 auch nur an den Wochenenden geöffnet...

'The house was as expected. The check in was challenging due to the late arrival. Definitely recommend checking in during daylight. If you check in on Sunday, have Rosanna do some shopping for the necessity.'

'Very warm welcome including homemade pie and a fridge with everything and more than you need on arrival . House very clean and comfortable in a beautiful location . Only problem for us was we couldn’t get internet which wouldn’t have mattered if we didn’t have to plan our journey but overall very enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend .
