'Such a cute, cosy and well equipped hideaway. Great location for exploring the area. Lovely bedroom with comfortable bed. Extensive collection of reading material to browse and enjoy. The little local store a few paces away had everything needed to stock up and the hotel/ pub The Fleece was perfect for a drink in the evening.'

'Lovely old cottage, furnished well with a nice kitchen having everything you need for eating in (except for a sieve or collander). Clay tiles on ground floor make the floor cold so bring slippers in low season. Some very low beams so tall people beware. Couldn't light the gas fire though. Surprised to find slow-moving bees on window sills or on floor each day when returning from day out.'

'We booked last minute to get out of the bustle of the city. Suzanne and John were really thoughtful in sharing that there was unexpected roadwork outside the cottage, giving us the opportunity to find another place to stay but we decided to go ahead and are so glad that we did. 'We have just returned from an absolutely fabulous stay at Harkstead Hall. The house is beautiful. Spacious and has absolutely everything you need for a fun stay with friends. I went prepared with all the usual kitchen essentials but found that it was not needed. Dishwasher tablets, coffee filters, it was all there.
