B&B in Cheltenham

'Erg mooi hotel, met zeer vriendelijk personeel. Met name het oog voor detail viel op. Diverse snacks op de kamer, Hot chocolate wanneer in een thermoskan bij terug komst na een dag in the cotswolds. Honesty bar. Een heerlijke lounge. De bedden waren zo comfortabel dat we twee keer het ontbijt gemist hebben. Enig puntje, het was wel warm op de kamer.'

'There is no personal in the hotel. All doors are saved by codes. The codes are in advanced mailed. The chamber was more or less out dated. The bed was ok. Breakfast is not served. You had to pick up a couple of eatables out of a fridge, that does not work properly. Sometimes is was working, but all of a sudden it stopped working and a lot of water was down on the bottem of the fridge. I haven't seen anybody of the staff during my stay in the hotel. 'We really enjoyed our stay at Sunny Nest. Jill was a very good host, welcoming but not intrusive. The property is well situated for Bourton-in-the-Water, The Slaughters and Stow-in-the-Wold. 'The best part was the personal attention of the owners. This rooms are recently renovated stone farm buildings and are comfortable, attractive and quiet. This is a working farm a short distance from Stow. This was a perfect base for exploring the Cotswolds by car. The English Breakfast was excellent and despite the rural location it was quick and easy to drive to Stow for a pub meal. 'Lovely house, room was a good size, comfortable bed, decent linen. Good onsuite shower. Breakfast preordered and delivered to room as still have Covid restriction in place. Parking available but a bit tight getting in and out if other cars there. Hosts friendly and gave us a warm welcome. Definitely better than Doubletree Hotel down the road and half the price. '
